I have a 580m in my laptop and have no issues running all the latest games on high/ultra , so the 680m I would assume shouldnt have any issues either . As far as heat goes, get a decent laptop cooler . I use one and my GPU temps never go over 67 degress after hours of gaming .

U can also try OriginPC.com . I bought one of their laptops and am completely happy with it . Solid build quality and great customer service. The guys at Origin used to be at Alienware in the pre-Dell days .

I just don't understand the need for these useless threads comparing PS3, Xbox 360 and PC . Yes I used to be strictly a consolite having owned a 360 before switching to a PS 3 . About a year ago I purchased my first gaming laptop and since then have barely used my PS3 . Yes I feel PC gaming is superior to consoles , but I don't see the need for these which platform is better threads . Everyone has a right to choose which platform they should game on whether its through personal preference or what you can afford . Just because someone can't afford to game on a PC , or can't afford some high end PC, doesn't give anyone the right to berate them . If someone enjoys playing games on an NES , then that's their business . Some people need to grow up and get a life . There are so much more important things to worry about in today's world .

Laptops are plenty good for gaming depending on the specs but desktops are cheaper and more powerful.

It should be fine for schoolwork and MMOs . Not sure about regular gaming though as Im not familiar with thatgraphics card . I have a 3 year old Vaio with an i-7 and GT 330m that I used to use ( the wife now uses it ) and it was pretty solid for gaming purposes .

Actually I stand corrected . Sager must have lowered their prices. I went to theirwebsiteand built a laptop with my exact specs and it is $ 300 cheaper .

[QUOTE="Silicel1"] Just lol.Silicel1

Well I didn't expect anything for free so for me it wasa bonus . I spent $2700 on my laptop and for me it was worth it . A desktop was not an option and it can run any game on high settings . And the build quality is superb . So if someone wants to spend $3500 on a laptop and they have the money to do it, then I don't see it being an issue . Just my $.02 .:)

You can get a Sager laptop for 300$ less then yours and with a better CPU.

Not to hijack this thread , but I priced Sager as well and the way it was configured OriginPc was cheaper than Sager as well .
