If you get his steam games it seems worth it, but I think the alienware is overpriced. Look into Lenovo's (IBM) website, specifically the Y-series of laptops . For $850 you get an I-7 processor with a GT 750m graphics card, or if u want to splurge for $1000 you can upgrade to the Y-580 which comes with a GTX 660m graphics card which is vastly superior to the other cards . Do you know this person you are buying from ? Do you trust him to give you his steam password or if the alienware laptop is in good working order ? I personally would prefer the newer tech . Steam is always having sales , so you can pretty much get plenty of games 75% off ( the summer sale is right around the corner ) .

Hey everyone . I just purchased a 3ds and am trying connect it to my wireless network but am having some issues . The 3ds cant see my access point even while standing right next to my router . I know the problem isnt the ds because it is able to see my neighbors network as that comes up when I search for access points . My router is only 2 years old and I've never had any issues trying to connect anything wirelessly in the past . Any ideas anyone ?
I've been away on honeymoon for 3 weeks so I'm in the same boat as you. Now I have to catchup on: Crysis 3 Tomb Raider Dead Space 3 AssCreed 3 SimCity Aliens: Colonial Marines Starcraft 2: Heart of the SwarmFelipeInside
Congratulations on getting married !
I second the 598's if your budget allows it . I use them and love them . Perfect blend of clear sound and nice but not overpowering bass .
You wont be doing much gaming at all with that integrated graphics card . I dont have any experience with Acer products but from what I've read , they aren't very good . I guess it's ok if you want to watch movies and surf the net . Also , about the only thing you will be able to upgrade is the ram .
I dont have any steam friends either . Im in the same boat as u, op . Im 41 and none of my real life friends are gamers . Then again I dont ever play online anyway . I play games strictly for single player campaigns . When I do play the occasional MMO, I usually solo. The only time I ever played online with other players was when City of Heroes launched .
