Look, man. No disrespect here. I have no idea who you are but I can make about three guesses. You're either law enforcement, military, or a commercial actor who's responsible for conducting surveillance on me--specifically, you're probably supposed to watch all of my Internet activity. Posting on video game websites can be dangerous, I guess.

Anyway, let me explain the incident with the shoes to you.

This entire scenario took place after everyone--family, friends, all the people in the church, including my girlfriend and her brother, had already been replaced.

I think this is post kidnapping.

Anyway, I had a friendship with my girlfriend's brother, whose name I won't use. The brother shared an apartment with his sister, my girlfriend.

Anyway, I would go over there to play video games with her brother, and he'd agree to allow me to stay the night at the apartment on two conditions because he knew I liked his sister. First, I'd have to sleep on the couch. Second, he'd sleep on the floor next to the couch.

Finally--and I can't stress these two points enough. She and I were actively going out at the time. The thing with the shoes you already know about, and I was asleep.

Finally, he left for work long before I woke up from couch. I woke up when my girlfriend (excuse me, at this point, the commercial actress who was paid to assume the likeness, personality, and voice of my girlfriend) opened the door. She was bringing in groceries from the store.

I realized that her brother didn't care for me to be in the apartment alone with her, so I got up, asked her if she needed help bringing in the rest of the groceries, she said no, so I left until her brother showed up at the apartment again.

Seriously. The stuff you guys are assuming has apparently been blown out of proportion.

I'm sure what you're saying might be true.

However, the whole point of an open beta is that you get a chance to play the game then go on to their website and offer the bugs you find.

Video game development uses beta as a way to give players the opportunity to play the game before it's released, but it also lets the studio take advantage of free debugging.  You're supposed to go on their website and report bugs.

Everyone objects to online fees.

The problem I've noticed with games that use a freemium model is that this price model can and will nickel and dime you for more than the 14.99 subscription fee you would have paid if you would commit to one monthly fee.

I don't know why but it's the case that people will refuse to put 14.99 up front every month, as if that was too much of a commitment, but then they will pay 2.99 in microtransactions that amount to way more than 14.99 every 30 days.

It's pitiful.
