You need to get about a trillion hits on your YouTube video to make five bucks lol. And this guy is actually concerned about this?

I don't like them because the entire gameplay consists of panning the camera around, putting the crosshairs on the guy, and pressing the button. Repeat 1,000 times, after having done the exact same thing 25,000 times in previous games. I'm bored to death with it. I've been bored with it since the end of the PS2 era. I dislike multiplayer even more because it's just such a pointless waste of time. You're not making any progress through the game, there's no story to see through to its conclusion, no characters to join on their adventure, you're not seeing or doing anything you haven't seen and done numerous times before. It's purely a means of killing time.

About all I play on my PC is Skyrim. Always downloading new mod's and doing another playthrough.

Well there's Bloodrayne 2. I didn't find it scary at all but it does have vampires and lots of blood.

I'm more concerned with the art design than the pixel count. The most lifelike graphics in the world don't impress me at all if they're used to render a dull gray city. Give me a gorgeous, creative environment and I don't care if the graphics are only good but not great.

Probably GT5. It spent 5 years in development and had the second highest budget of any game made at that time. The developer had it hyped up to be the second coming of Christ. At launch it was just sad. The AI you race against was horrible beyond belief and the career mode was a boring grind for money. And they had told us it had some huge number of tracks but actually they were including all the variations on all the tracks in that number - other than what was in GT4 and GT5 Prologue, there was very little in the way of new tracks.

After numerous updates, and a year's worth of seasonal events it eventually turned into a very good game, but the way it was at launch was just shocking.

I barely even come here anymore. And when I do it's just for the forums. I have no interest in the main site. I've learned from years of experience that their reviews are not a useful tool when it comes to deciding which games I should buy and which I should skip. And their articles seem to be written by high school kids.

I'm 100% single-player, I guess that makes me as old-fashioned as a Model T. I'm very interested in some upcoming games, I'll get the next Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Gran Turismo at launch, and any RPG's or action/adventure or racing sim stuff interests me.

The online muliplayer-focused games leave me completely indifferent though. No story, no characters, no progression from beginning to middle to end. Just do the same thing over and over and you'll see yourself in the top two or three on the leaderboard for that match. Maybe some new guy will come along and you can kill him 15 times in two minutes. Yawn. I get bored with it after half an hour.

Used to love that channel when it was Tech TV. It turned into just another generic cable channel though. I caught Xplay once in a blue moon but the game reviews seemed like they were only about 10% of the content, the other 90% being commercials, intro's and outro's for commercials, and people standing around trying to be funny.

My wife plays a few games. She liked Motorstorm Pacific Rift and now we got the Jak and Daxter HD collection and she's playing Precursor Legacy. She's funny - "Ill get this #%$#* if it's the last thing I ever do!!!" LOL.

Other than that though she's not into RPG's as the controls / inventory are too complicated and she doesn't care for racing sim's as she just slides off the track.
