Yes, but
When a player's game is invaded, they have the chance to receive backup from fellow covenant members if they belong to the "Way of the Blue" covenant. This will make it harder for stronger players to torment low-level characters, and give players a chance to act as a savior for the weak.
At least it makes getting your body back more rewarding, hopefully invasions won't be so laggy with the dedicated servers.
I like the Vita better as a handheld with its OLED screen and full compatibility with the touch screen. At home I'd play on my PS3 or PC, Vita or 3DS for on the go.
