I missed the debate because I don't have TV, but the American people lose whether Romney or Obama wins.

WolfattheDoor34

such insight, must be that underground rap

Are you being sarcastic? Once again I can't tell, especially when I can't hear your tone of voice.

Anyway, I'm listening to the debate and it sounds like Romney is winning, but not by much.

Instead of listening to the predictably crappy music that is Justin Bieber, people should listen to underground hip-hop that has an actual message to it and speaks out against the establishment.

WolfattheDoor34

yeah man that's what I'm talkin about I bet nobody who listens to that stuff is gay!

I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic... anyway, I hope you're serious, because gays tend to listen to lady gaga and other crap. Some of my favorite rappers have some offending lyrics to gays.

[QUOTE="PinkiePirate"][QUOTE="TheFatPerson"]

It's not so much about the fact that I don't like it, it's more or less the fact that it's objectively bad.

TheFatPerson

it's still music and it's still subjective. there is no such thing as "objectively bad."

Of course there's music that's objectively bad, if you compare it to other music artists that are more creative, display more ingenuity in their music, and are overall more talented. The fact that formulaic, banal music exists simply to attract the lowest common denominator and make money is not subjective. Anyone can see that.

I couldn't agree with you more, most of the garbage on the radio is objectively bad and doesn't have any real substance to it. At least that's what mainstream hip-hop and R&B are like.

[QUOTE="Darthkaiser"][QUOTE="Person0"] So then what destroyed it if not fire? There is no evidence of anything else destroying it......Person0
God...I meant you can't just throw some gasonline and torch that thing and expect it to crumble down like a lego tower Maybe explosions maybe detonations in the supports who knows? All I'm saying is that most TCs claims are reasonable

The building had a lot of damage from falling debris and had fires that were not resisted by firefighters at all. Controlled demolition using explosives leaves a large amount of evidence behind, like miles worth of det cord. The building would also have to be gutted first which is pretty noticible.

Ever heard of wireless detonation? This isn't a cartoon where Wiley Coyote has a long detonation cord leading to the TNT. Also, the building wouldn't need to be gutted to plant explosives.

I hate rap. Really, all it is, is some "G" talking fast about weed, and sex. That's what all this mainstream rap sh!t is. Rap can be good, but most of it is just annoying. I'll stick to metal/screamo. Considering the guy from Attila can growl faster than lil wayne can rap, that's pretty funny.

Wow attila is 2deep4me

I never said their lyrics were "deep". But he can growl like a mother f*cker.

If you want deep then listen to the underground hip-hop that I listen to.

Yeah... the old stuff. This new crap sucks (mainstream anyways). I find todays Rap/Hip Hop to be very overrated. I don't find nothing that says that any of these rappers are "the best". Sure some are good but I don't consider any of them the best.coolkid93

True, the new mainstream stuff is total crap. That's why I listen to the old school and underground hip-hop.

[QUOTE="Abbeten"] I generally find this music a little unfocused and soapboxy. Abbeten

Unfocused? How is it unfocused? I can see why you would think it's soapboxy, but unfocused...?

From my admittedly limited experience, overtly political and anti-establishment rap tends to devolve into platitudes and vague sentiment against a generalized 'other' rather than staying rooted in details and specificity.

Well, the rappers I've listened to have specified the Illuminati, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, Reptilians, etc. and I've heard them dissing George W. Bush and Barack Obama, calling them puppets (because they are).
