Romney changes his mind more often than he changes his clothes. I just don't know where he actually stands on anything.

[QUOTE="Vuurk"][QUOTE="comp_atkins"]if america is exceptional, how come we elect such mediocre people? hydr0_32

My guess is that we don't actually elect them. The government controls the media in this country and only presents us with two options who are virtually the same person and being pulled by the same set of strings. Not to mention the amount of voter fraud in the U.S. We don't really get to choose who is the leader of this country.

You hit the nail on the head

So true, people are told to vote between the "lesser of two evils" of the same Republican/Democrat puppets, who are funded by the same people. The media acts like there would actually be a difference between a Romney and Obama administration, when the reality is that they would both maintain the status quo. That's why I'm voting for either Gary Johnson or Ron Paul. I don't care if either of them don't have a chance of winning, because I'm voting by principle. Don't tell me it's a wasted vote, because I live in California and it doesn't matter who I vote for anyway, the majority in my state always votes Democrat.

Romney's strategy from here on out will be saying whatever the audience wants to hear. After the last debate, it's clear the American people aren't concerned with facts, so why tell the truth?Nuck81

When's the last time we had an honest president? I don't know, because I've only been alive for almost 25 years.

There is no best genre. Every one of them has their pros and cons.

FMAB_GTO

Those who say that are one of "those"people.

Well, it's all a matter of perspective, especially since this is such a subjective topic. Personally, I like rap that's underground and anti-establishment, but I like any genre of music that's anti-establishment. I can objectively say that meaningful lyrics make a song better than the predictable cliched lyrics.

[QUOTE="DevilMightCry"]

[QUOTE="Abbeten"] Except that Democratic enthusiasm is higher than Republican enthusiasm right now...Abbeten

Right now, meaning 2 weeks ago. In July the Republicans held a 49% rate. Last month it was 55%. Last week it was 64%. It will keep going up especially after yesterday's debate. Also, in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and NC, the Democrats are losing registered voters, who are now moving to mostly Independents, which Mitt Romney carries overwhelmingly. Also, enthusiasm rate does not equal voter participation rate, which will be lower this year for Dems than in 2007.

Why yes, enthusiasm does increase as we near the actual election date. What an astute observation. It's been going up for Democrats too. And what? Romney does not carry independents overwhelmingly. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/259907-rise-in-support-from-independents-helping-obama-gain-steam-in-polls And Democratic registration is down, but so is Republican registration. This is all digressing from my original point, at any rate.

Hopefully it's because people are finally starting to realize that the two party system is a fraud.

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]I've been planning my bank robbery that I plan on doing when I'm 85 for a while now, and the FBI hasn't knocked on my door.Fightingfan

FBI must not think you're much of a threat...

Gonna have to do this :/

 I love that show, it's so funny!

Anyway, robbing a bank is different than terrorist threats. It's just too bad we can't arrest the FBI, CIA, and the rest of the government for their acts of terrorism.

[QUOTE="PinkiePirate"] all music is art. money and popularity are irrelevant.PinkiePirate

Money and popularity is totally relevant. That's why record companies are so successful and that's why pop stars like Justin Bieber are so recognized.

You can like Justin Bieber if you want. But you're really giving him more credit than he deserves. To claim that he is talented and his music exemplifies art is utterly laughable to the highest degree.

he can sing very well. i'd like to see you do better. ;]

I can sing better, at least I don't have one of those annoyingly high pitch voices.

[QUOTE="Abbeten"]People here should listen to Shabazz Palaces before whining about modern rapAbbeten

Thanks for the suggestion. What does he rap about?

If I wanted to sound smart, I'd say materialism, masculinity, and the conflict between individual and culture. But the truth is, I have no goddamn idea because they're abstract as all hell. Sounds dope though

I'm listening to their Black Up album and it's pretty good, but not as good as the rappers I mentioned above. You should check them out. You can listen to their music for free on their websites.

yeah man that's what I'm talkin about I bet nobody who listens to that stuff is gay!

WolfattheDoor34

I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic... anyway, I hope you're serious, because gays tend to listen to lady gaga and other crap. Some of my favorite rappers have some offending lyrics to gays.

haha gays are so gay

just look at them, all gay and stuff, loving crap music, can you even believe how gay they are? lol THE GAYS
