I decided to download the demo... first thoughts pretty good.

Always bought FIFA and willing to give any football game a try, the first things I noticed when playing it with Juventus v Roma.

- Atmosphere, the fans are non-stop, really gets you settled into the game.

- Player movement not too erratic, when moving with the ball there is a bit more fluidity.

- Presentation.. meh not much to say but not overly fussed.

- CPU A.I. no afraid to play the ball from the back or go direct, tendency to try and 'suck' you into their half.

- You can't just go around players but did find it okay to do so down the wing, perhaps tactically setup that way.

Noticeable things...

- Llorente called for the ball to play in but then took a step back allowing me to play the ball to his feet. Other occasions allows you to change the mind but allows the control.

- Not many fouls, again it seems to allow a bit more movement of play rather than start/stop, players tend to fend off rather than waiting for contact.

Remember these are just my early thoughts, not going to do the "compare to FIFA" and so forth.

# @Smashbrossive50 hilarious reponse, yes for a minute I thought I put that into the Witcher 3 forum discussion which obviously I haven't.

@robotopbuddy the effort from me is there, just seem a bit unlucky with the stance that the character is in when I get hit once and well that's it I'm dead. I will probably start again from scratch after giving it a few go's.

Cheers guys.

Yep pretty much.

Keep dying and no matter how many times I attack and defend I always get caught out, and this is on the easiest difficulty level.

Any 'cheat' I could use to bypass this quest or even vaporise the enemy in one hit? Sounds desperate but never known any game to be like this, even hitting them is not doing much and that's with 100% sword whether it be silver or steel!

If it comes to it, maybe I missed out on a number of things before and could have better equipped weapons before doing this mission perhaps? Wouldn't mind starting the game over if it comes to it.

Clear bug, no handballs despite it being turned on unless they have really minimized the chances of the referring calling it.

Also a note about Formations and Team Sheets, I understand the concept behind it and find it really handy espeically when changing it up for cup games etc but one beef.

Why the hell aren't they're stored in the Formations setup? Our team sheets purely setup for starting line ups because that really sucks.

Adjusting positions before or during the game results in not saving the tactics, also why the hell did they get rid of saving multiple formations and custom tactics? If I'm wrong please tell me.

Stating the obvious but can you post a screenshot of what it shows on the screen when you run the game? When in Windowed mode does it allow you to maximise the window?

Just use customisations settings to resolve the issue, works for me.

Wouldnt you guys agree that its not so much the gameplay with interaction but the mechanics and levels that are being played?

They have made it as if its Sam vs the world when it's nothing like that, a lot of espionage goes on behind the scenes, real heros we never hear off but with Sam Fisher its a "team game".

The President isnt supposed to even much about him along with the Ghost Recon teams yet they have turned them into cheap Action style Hollywood movies.

Always been buying FIFA but thought it would be best to try PES and so far it's going okay.

Play seems a bit stiff but I think thats probably because of the amount of times I have played FIFA that Konami have taken the game in a different direction since PES6 on PS2.

Player A.I. is good, they don't seem to wonder around randomly, positioning sense is not too bad even for a team like Colo Colo.

Midfield does seem to be a huge plus, something to take advantage of, the 'triangle passing' with Martinez, Schweinsteiger and Kroos was a thrill.

Played the ball through from Mandzukic to Muller but as soon as I went to hit the cross the linesman put his flag up, Muller was in line but the thing is that the linesman waited till I touched the ball.  Not sure if Konami put this in as a rule or just the fact that Linesman in PES take their time to put the flag up.

It's not easy to take the ball of someone, you are made to work for it.

However...

The goalkeepers sometimes do make a hash of things, hope they fix this and not make it happen so often, remember, players and goalkeepers do make a hash of things at times. (i.e. goalkeeper for Colo Colo dives backwards in mid air whilst the ball was chipped where a simple catch should have happened).

Also when celebrations occur the game kind of freezes up, no doubt because of the game engine and fans celebrating which I did like but this shows that it's time for the new gen to arrive so I look forward to see how it turns out on the new consoles.
