@Roku966 take your soapbox to the street corner and leave it out of my gaming fun.

If the main characters were drug addicted strippers or women who bilked men out of fatherhood and child support money then Carolyn would be calling them revolutionary feminist role models.

This game deserves a 9.5 why on earth would you give to a raving wannabee feminist it's like asking a Jewish person to review Mein Kampf.

If Carolyn created characters they would all be super trite and dull and uninteresting that's why she is a reviewer that critiques the creations of others.

There is a glaring error in this review, Carolyn complaining about politics and misogyny should be filed under "The Good".

Another review ruined by the reviewers half-baked politics and ideology.

@yienwae @IrrationalBeast " Had the features been somehow 'reversed' and the Wii U had less than the PS 3 or the 360, we would have had a whole different review on how the Wii U is 'once again' short changed by the 3rd party developer by not having a FULLY featured game. Funny how that does not show up even once on here. "

Cute strawman

No Tom. Just no. You're doing it wrong.

You are supposed to be in your office cackling maniacally while counting up you "kick back money" and yelling "Fools!" over and over again. You are like a game reviewer super villain, you are so good at being evil that you manage to take bribes without ever getting caught and without leaving a shred of evidence in their wake. Just like Kevin and Carolyn and the other Gamespot cronies, you all must have one hell of a system you all should seriously consider public service.

So what are you going to do with THIS bribe? From all the bribes you supposedly take for your reviews I assume you are a very rich man.

Methinks a bunch of people are just upset and having buyer's remorse for CHOOSING to purchase the inferior Wii U version iver other versions and so they are taking their anger out on Tom.

They were probably sold on the tablet Murfy stuff being "unique" even though the tablet stages take control from the player and put it in the hands of a finicky AI, making the game less fun than its "ports".

Lesson here is simple: a good rule of thumb is that when available get the PC version. Not always but usually.

I'm having fun, too. On my PC, and I get to control the main character AND Murfy at the same time instead of having to goad the main character into behaving properly by futzing with stuff to manipulate its scripting.

What you perceive as "unique controls" others perceive as a boring gimmick that can be easily replicated on the other platforms with usually one button without giving up any control of the main character (and therefore being more fun). It's Tom's opinion that controlling the main character + Murfy is simply FUNNER than controlling Murfy while trying to get the main character to behave. What is so hard for uncritical fan boys to understand about this?It is totally 100% logical: two characters MORE FUN than 1 character and a fussy AI. Put down the fan boy kool aid for five seconds and try thinking critically about it. Tom seems to have problem doing that and clearly articulating his reasoning, why can't you?
