I'm writing a game and I'm really not sure what games use a great cover system. The only game I've played recently that used cover system was Dark Void and I thought that one seemed a little annoying at times.

If you guys could tell me some great games with a good cover system to study, it'd be a lot of help.

Thanks.

Ahh you know that every teenaged girl in the city would suddenly take up gaming for that. Personally I'm happy just thanking God It hasn't been made. And praying that it won't.

I never want games to look too realistic. When they still have a somewhat cartoony look but at the same time are gorgeous to look at, I'll be tremendously happy. If a game doesn't separate itself from reality in some way or another, it just seems like the same old thing that we try to get away from every day.

I'd think that you would have start with like gaming history and move up from there going through all the different genres and such and what they mean. And with every different category... you get to play a game that corresponds with it. I'd like that.

Yeah I sounds good on paper but unfortunately many movie-based games don't work well.

I was just playing Lego Indy this morning and my brother said that it would be cool if he was able run on walls so, sure while Lego Terminator would be cool, I think Lego Matrix would be better. :)

Its all a matter of perspective of course, so you really have to understand that one reviewers opinion is not necessarily going to be the same. However, you do have to realize that most reviewers try to make it as least biased as they can. So yes, I do believe that some reviewers get caught in the hype of a certain game and have been known to rate a game over what it should be (yes I;m looking at you GTA4) but they are human beings so you can't judge them if your not going to judge yourself. I trust a reviewer to make a good call, and if he has a reputation of being honest and truthful, then thats really the best I can do.

I thought of this after looking at a differnent post, but just like the title says, how will Project Natal work for Third-Person games? I just don't understand. It seems like there could only be a select few types of games that the thing could work for, like racers or arcade games.

Any ideas?

I would like to see some information on it. :P I don't have any idea how it works... I'll have to google it or check it out via wikipedia.
