I think the reasoning behind the weird console choices are the sales in Japan for those systems. If I'm not mistaken, the PS3 is at the top as far as consoles go right now, and the 3DS is a really big seller there too. Other consoles like the Vita or Wii haven't been pulling that many big numbers lately, so I guess Capcom was going for the consoles that were popular in Japan while they're making this game.
That might actually be a good sign as far as the game's quality goes...
@Gelugon_baat But I don't think it's wrong to just enjoy the product though. I rented this game on my 360, without even caring about the other characters being locked on the disc, and just loved playing it. I think if anything, we should base our spending on the quality of the product, and not what was cut from it.
Wow, a lot of negativity in this section. I guess people have forgotten that Resident Evil 6 hasn't been released yet, so they should know better then to talk about it like they've played it extensively.
It's a shame that people look down on this game due to Capcom's asinine business shenanigans. It really is a fun game, and I'm actually kind of happy PC gamers are able to play it now too.
