Now this is weird... Here I am, back after... at least 5-6 years? (Edit: I was obviously exaggerating. Looks like the last time I posted was just two years ago, hehehehe...)

I have largely given up - with occasional exceptions - on gaming. My time/money are rather scarce and divided between literature (I am nearly a recognized author around my parts), music, visual arts and films... However, I am thinking of returning (in a different way) to gaming...

There is a site dedicated to music and - as of several years ago - films that is now going to open a video game section as well. But my old ratings and reviews from GameSpot and a few other sites hold little value to me anymore - and, in general, I feel like having to redefine my tastes. I have changed a lot in the meantime - read "I have become hopelessly elitist". So now I am eager to explore the world of so-called "indie" games and dig (again) in my crate of '90s games. Still haven't sold them, in spite of having thrown away my equally big collection of old PC mags (but they would have been pretty useful right now)...

tl;dr version - I'm back. And with quite a lot of nostalgia looking through my feed. Dracula68, hey there, remember me from the box set thread? :D

No Pagani in the main game, without DLC = bummer. Didnt liked the lock-happy car selection from The Run, though at least I could drive Huayra...

I have been playing NFS for much longer than just MW and Carbon, so even though I liked MW (but I prefer Carbon, either way I was excited the first time I heard about World) I am not that desperate. I knew the first time I heard about this new MW that it will come out in Burnout style. But I didnt mind Burnout Paradise either, to be honest (even though I have also played the older Burnouts too, out of which I miss Burnout 3 though). Overall, this MW is not bad, but not great, either. Fun to run through it, but even UC was more chewable, if you catch my drift...

Man, I miss the visual customization and the cities with eye candy during night mode from the previous games...

Battlestar Galactica. :P No, really, I found all of the above stupid. I would prefer Oddworld, although even that is merely a fable with only some imagination above the aforementioned.

Even if I knew how old the universe actually is (in the case the universe is not static, but expands or otherwise, that could also mean that not everywhere in space there is the same age! There would be regions and regions...), how difference does it make?! This stuff, as most of philosophy, is for curiosity's sake, but nothing else. Although, to be more precise, there could be some psychological resort in there, but, oh well... I can live without it!

Brazil. Japan. Brazil for managing, in music and not only, to acquire a perfect balance between modernity and tradition. Japan for, erm, many things. I could also add Belgium just for the pralines and a couple of Dadaist and Surrealist poets... and I would have also liked to add some African countries...

Hi5, which was more popular than MySpace here in Romania and it has been overthrowned, I think, by the almighty Facebook.
