This is insanely cool! McCartney has done movie soundtracks before, and some of his softer rock songs border on classical music. He has perhaps the best ear of any performer in our time.

One might consider Half-Life the greatest shooter of all time, as it was the inspiring-grandfather figure for a more recognized franchise: Halo.

gmreedy, Half-Life 2 took 5 years to develop but 6 years to release after the whole hacking fiasco. 8 years is a little off, especially if it's 2/3 of the time it takes to make Halo 3.

It's been almost 3 years since Halo 2 was released, and I'm surprised how few of you have actually moved on the other shooters like I have. Sure, on Christmas day I had trouble imagining any shooter better than a Halo title, but after having played Half-Life 2, F.E.A.R., GRAW, Gears of War, Battlefield 2, Resident Evil 4, and the like, it's gonna take a lot from Bungie to make me consider them the ultimate action game developers again. These pics, while superior to Halo 2, aren't all that comforting. I've gotta see this in person before I make any assumptions, though. BTW, while I am a PS3 supporter at heart, seriously fanboys: Have Sony show, not tell about their graphics power.

Yeah, as much as I like the PS3, the browser leaves a lot to be desired.
