Interestingly enough, I went to the school in which most of my friends attended. Wayne State University. Although, after my first two years... I wound up transferring to Loyola in Chicago. Which was a wonderful albeit very religious experience. And considering I'm not religious, it was rather strange.

My two cents.

I can see why people are swayed by Uncharted 2. Sadly, I was left unphased. Not to say that its a bad game, per se. It just doesn't have the same affect on me as it does many of you. The environments are astonishingly large, the graphics are ravishing, and the controls are about as tight as possible. But there are a number of segments where it drags and the storyline is not exactly its strongest point. Not to mention that the characters can seem so one-dimensional at times. The average gamer, which is not myself granted, will love this game. Having said that, as someone who signifies themselves with more artistic fair, Uncharted 2 is not my bag. And I'll leave it at that.

I suppose Godspeed shouldn't be confined to the alternative genre as they don't necessarily follow many conventions of the genre.

Dream Theater

Pantera

Radiohead

PerilousWolf

Although, I'm not crazy about the alternative genre, I'm going to trust this guy solely based on his profile picture. :D

Anything by Osamu Tezuka or Yoshihiro Tatsumi.

For Tezuka:

Buddha (a 9 volume epic about the life of the man)

Apollo's Song (a beautiful tragedy)

Phoenix (something everyone needs to read)

For Tatsumi:

Push man and Other Stories (very stark dramas by a repressed graphic novelist)

A Drifting Life (an 800 page auto-biography of sorts)

Well, whatever it is, it smells wonderful... Like a fried cupcake.

Or to phrase it differently... Are all the expansions worth $60? Having beaten the Fallout 3 campaign a few times already and having not invested any time or money into the DLC, I was just curious as to whether it might be worth the cash. Considering, I have very little incentive to go back and play the original campaign. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I would have spent the Microsoft points but I lent a friend the game and doubt that it will be returned to me.

I'm not positively sure where this thread should go but I'll try here. If it should be in a different section of the forums, I apologize.

I was pondering whether Gamefly is a decent deal. At $23 a month for two games at a time (after the first month), it seems a tad bit expensive. Maybe, I'm being cheap. The same goes for paying $16 a month for one game at time. But still, any opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, folks.

Thanks guys. I realize that I was pressing only one of the punch buttons three times and not all at once.
