@Ryusui: Transmog is coming. That should alleviate the issue you speak of considerably if not completely.

@samrvdman: Publisher time constraints and guidelines tend to affect everyone in this industry far more than your allowing them with your statement. Let's be real here; we all know thats one of the primary problems with the game industry in this era. Bungie may have made some bad decisions, but it's a guarantee many of them came about due to Activision's forced hand.

@R34Vegeta: Completely untrue and unfounded, especially considering transmog is coming and it's backwards compatible. Warmind was the reboot of the game's ascent, and before Forsaken was even announced or leaked, Warmind had already boosted the games active daily players up from a crappy 85k to over half a million players.

@Barighm: You should definitely care what they have to say now, as now it's not just them hyping whatever they were able to produce under a publisher's requirements. Now it's exactly what they feel the game should become. They may very well fail in the end, but, at least in this vidoc, it was filled with quite a bit of good news for the community from them.

@gamingdevil800: A million + active daily players means its most definitely not too late for the franchise. A version of transmog and cross save have been massive day 1 asks from the community for this franchise and their delivering on them, along with more.

@cboye18: I see lots of hyperbole here. Bungie may have made some mistakes, but this is the absolute first time in the developer's history (at least since they've had a large studio, lets not count marathon here) that they aren't working under the heels of a publisher, and out of the gate their promising fixes the community has been asking for since day 1 in 2014. Basic logic dictates give them a chance.

And YES, absolutely YES do people still play Destiny. It was Number one on Twitch the day of the new Raid Release on Tuesday. No dead game can achieve that. At it's lowest point during season 6, which was the worst received season of the season pass, it still had half a million active daily players. Right now its sitting at a little over a million. It might not be as impressive on Twitch because of the removal of Trials, but believe me, its active.

@jagdedge124: Bunch of crap. There's PLENTY of jobs available to Americans their just too stupid to take them. If you want American kids to actually get off their ass you need to get them to actually study and follow through. You need to put more money into public education, and not into the private charter schools which backdoor lobby for political campaigns. The U.S. is 17th in education yet were the most "powerful" country in the world? Pathetic.

@gamingdevil800: Wtf are you talking about? Half of the forsaken DLC is literally borne from Fanbase demands. Black Armory is LITERALLY fan demand, as the hardcore wanted more endgame content. Why the heck do I always see people troll the heck out of this game but when other competitive games get uneven b.s. nobody bats an eye?

Thanatos2k: This is literally in response to super casuals whining that they don't want to spend a few hours leveling to get to the "end-game" new dlc content. It's not a big deal whatsoever.

j3DiKNiGHtDAVE : It's for the entire years worth of content dude. It's definitely worth it.

@siarhei: Destiny is what exactly? I guess you live in a different universe where Destiny didn't get the Forsaken expansion and doesn't average out nearly 2 million online players daily? 0_o . Destiny is in a great state right now good sir.

@n00bsla3r66: Try again. CoO released 3 months after initial launch so by your calculations you never even tried it. Bungie rectified the "paywall" issue just a few weeks after the issue popped up with the launch of CoO, and the game now, 6+ months later, plays considerably different to what it used to play back in Oct/Nov when you stopped. D2 has plenty of issues, and I'm not going to sit here and defend Bungie because there's still plenty of things to rectify. But man, the extreme hate for D2 is LONG past warranted, as the game has released a steady stream of amazing updates both short lived and permanent that have definitely enhanced the game (including critical gameplay revamps). With the addition of the Warmind DLC's new Power level grind as well as all of that sweet new, super hard to grind for loot coming with it, D2 should finally be back to Taken King levels of enjoyment come May 8th.
