@xnshd: The arrogance is astounding. The guy had fun playing this game, where is fun in your "calculation" of what verifies a game is good? FYI, an "old man gamer" would know more about what makes a good game than a naive troll.
@SilentAssassin: What controller upgrades do you need? I think you're confused about something there. The storage space is obviously an issue. The GBA didn't have a backlight because Nintendo was trying to keep the ability to play in direct sunlight and because battery capacity was an issue with lighting. Then, they started building in a frontlight with the GBA SP, with no competition forcing that (but actually, you're completely off the mark, almost all of the original gameboy's competition had backlighting and it killed the battery - Game Gear, Lynx, Nomad, etc). There were also plans to have a translucent screen that could be back and front lit, something that smartphones today still haven't done but are also on the path to.
@tom_cat_01: I upgraded the PS4 to a 1 TB hybrid drive, added 2 TB external to my Xbox One...and both are now full. These companies should let you use NAS.
@Lordcrabfood: Nice, more insults. "lol. No point in blaming xbox just cause nintendo are too weak and have to follow suit. No one put a gun to nintendo's head." I guess you have a hard time understanding that my point is that they may not have "followed suit" if it's relatively cheap.
BTW, next time you want to try to insult someone by telling them they're stupid, learn the difference between your and you're.
@CyberEarth: The connection is the difference I was referring to, but since you didn't bother to actually get on the same page before going on yet another tangent over nothing... Now, let's approach your silly comments:
a) if you don't have a cell connection, how will you be multiplayer gaming in a tunnel anyway? b) the functions of the smart device are likely control/menu/signaling/setup, not voice - as in, less data used than most apps of any kind
Your definition of US vs. Japan cell coverage is about 10 years out of date...not that I think that anyone serious about action oriented multiplayer gaming would ever want to do that on a handheld in public.
@bigcrusha: Not superiority complexes, they have a lack of self awareness and are unable to gauge their actual knowledge of, let's say, EVERYTHING. It's typical among teenagers, and by that token, gamers.
@Lordcrabfood: Yes, price is relevant...if this is relatively inexpensive, the whining will stop. Still trying to figure out where you think reading comprehension fits here. Maybe go figure out what reading comprehension actually is and get back to me? Actually, don't bother, I can tell you are too young to continue any conversation if you're resorting to attempts at insulting.
@lorddaggeroff: The way you compare specs to sales has never, ever proven a successful console for anyone. However, that's how every industry disruption happens, people like yourself miss something because of your perspective. Think of the NS as Nintendo leaving the console business...they are focusing on the thing they do not lose with - the handheld. And they're keeping people satisfied by not forcing them to only play it as a handheld. Take that approach, go back and look at the NS's specs, and maybe you'll get it.
