wow why would u disconnect while trying to update the firmware? that could brick ur ipod. just because it doesn't seem to update but u just need to be patient cuz that update is pretty big.

Neither iTunes or the iPod indicated it was still updating. iTunes said the update failed.
I bought an iPod touch today and it worked well until it asked to update to the 4.2 firmware. It kept asking me if I wanted to share info with Apple (said no, then put yes) until it downloaded the update. Didn't seem to update and I ended up disconnecting it. Later I plugged it back in and it started updating but stopped and said it could not. Now it is currently stuck on a screen with the Apple logo and an empty progress bar. It's not responding to any button presses. Any idea on what I should do?
Reading these reviews makes me think that if they took out the GT4 "ports" and released them as (free) DLC GT5 would have gotten better scores and Polyphony would have gotten praised for it. Instead, they included them with the game and are getting bashed for it.
I tried it but it seemed to have a lot of network issues. I played the demo for NBA 2k11 and the audio kept skipping and the graphics looked bad. It's a neat service, but has problems that need to be sorted.
