That x1650 looks nice at that price, but whats the difference? I mean I could easily overclock the 2400 to those same memory speeds.

Im a little slow there :P Yea i have the old school AGP slots. Newegg has some nice prices but all i could find in Radeon was the 2400 for $69. Id hate to purchase an expenisve card when i could get a pc 10x better than my current one for around $500 at cyberpower. Ill have to do some more looking around before I choose one.

Is there something i should look out for? Like what makes a vid card perform well like pipelines and transistors or memory tranfer rate. I have no idea what those do. Higher the better right?

Im not really trying to spend much, I dont use my pc for gaming often. But you think the 2400 can play TF2 better than my old 9600.

Hello, I am trying to figure out if the 2400Pro 8x AGP is a decent card. I have a very old Radeon 9600 in my pc right now, i think its time for an upgrade. I dont really play games with super graphics, i mainly play CSS and TF2. My 9600 plays them both well on 800x640 with high settings, but it lags when the action gets hot.

I chosen the 2400 because it supports DirectX10. It seems to be a nice. Can someone tell me if this card is any good?

My system Specs: AMD 2800+ 2.2 Ghz, 1 GB Memory.
