[QUOTE="HyperNate"]I made this topic because there has been many mixed reactions on the DSi. Personally, I don't like it. The only differences are the cameras and DSiware. Everyone thinks that if you add a camera to something it makes it so much better. WRONG! Cameras just add some useless add-on that has to have a camera to work. Then there is DSiware. This is ripoff of Wiiware, and was added on so Nintendo could make 2$ more from downloads. The only things that are worth downloading onto the DSi is the old Gameboy games. Which brings me to Exhibit B. THE DSi CANNOT PLAY GAMEBOY GAMES. That was what made the original DS so popular. It could play 2 types of games. But now, they added DSiware in place of a the Gameboy slot. Are they out of there mind????? Anyway, let me here you're opinions on the DSi. This is my opinion.freakbabyblues
I think your problem is that you are misinformed. I'd explain, but I'm not in the mood to make another rainbow wall of text.

yeah you're probably right

I like upgrades but I don't want too many. There have been 3 modified DS. They should at least name it Nintendo DS 2

As you know movie-games have been around for a long time. A load of them have failed horribly (Remember E.T?). What do you think would be the best DS movie-game and why.

I agree, but I'm agreeing that DSi is a rip-off of the Wii.

If devs tried they could make classic looking ones like Doom, or something on the Nintendo 64.. But most devs don't try to do FPSes on the DS for some reason.

I agree. Especially with DSiware, you could download a game like Doom onto your DS

Do you think the DS should have more first-person shooters. Do you think the DS is capable for it and would get good reviews? The only first-person shooters I've seen is the Call of Duty series for the DS and it hasn't gotten good reviews. I know they have been working on a Halo DS and it looked pretty nice, but they abandoned the project. Anyways, I want your opinion on DS first-person shooters, can they be made, and how good the quality would be.

[QUOTE="Yandere"]

I want the DS to stay as far as it can from the Wii.

I don't have Wii so i don't know. Is DS really better than Wii?

Each console has its own pros or cons.

The Wii and the Nintendo DS are VERY similar. So how come I mean think about a Nintendo DS version of Boom Blox. It would be a number one hit! Okay, so maybe I'm dreaming a little, but with the Nintendo DSI, you could have expansion packs, extras, and downloadable content for these games. So maybe it may be downgraded, and some games may not be playable for the DS, but the only game I've seen that is playable on the DS and Wii is "My Sims Racing." I mean c'mon! I want to play a SSBB on the DS! I want to play Wii sports or something like that on the DS! This a great opportunity to let people play a popular video game, on another platform! Also a DS game could be on the Wii! Think of Nintendogs on the Wii! So each game could have crossovers. Think about it! ~HyperNate
