[QUOTE="deepdreamer256"] Define 'broad sense'. At least for what I consider the definition of atheism, "disbelief in the existence of deities", to me that represents that an atheist has faith that a God does not exist.sSubZerOo

Faith by definition for most people is believing in the supernatural, so how can an atheist have "faith" and how exactly are they just as faith based? Basically if one asks "do you have faith?" they ask if you believe in a God, not if you don't believe in one. You wouldn't say "Yes I have faith in that there is no God."

That is inncorrect.. You can have faith in many things outside of the supernatural.. Having faith in your friends that they won't let you down.. Having faith in the car your driving doesn't fall apart or explode as you drive it..

True, but atheists don't have faith in a God, so it's not faith based.

[QUOTE="deepdreamer256"]I think it reflects how atheism is just as faith based as religion and thus agnosticism is the superior stance to take.deepdreamer256

Technically, atheism (in the broad sense) isn't a belief, but a lack of one. How is the lack of a belief faith based?

They come to accept is as truth because it has been imprinted in their minds since youth. And because they don't question or really give it that much thought because most everyone they know have the same faith, so it becomes common sense to them. At least that's how I see it.

Who would give up free games!? Even if they're horrible you can still sell them or have the enjoyment of destroying it.

Hm, yes, it does look like Gears. I'll just stick to Gears of War 2 then.
