[QUOTE="tobes1993"][QUOTE="CosmoKing7717"]every single person that prepurchased on steam is currently preloading it...try switching the server you are downloading from since it is prob busy.CosmoKing7717Didn't think of that...which is pretty stupid of me. Hopefully it's that and not something on my end, saves an angry phonecall to my internet provider! xD it basically happens everytime there is a TF2 update, so i'm kind of used to it. Which is everyday now it seems. For the past 2-3 weeks, every time I fire up Steam, I seem to have a TF2 update waiting.

Need I remind you how much a console port joke Bethesda-published Rage was. Really hope that doesn't turn out to be the case here, but I'm hesitant to preorder any game because of recent disappointments. In any case, with any first person view game, I can't really imagine using gamepad over keyboard+mouse. KB+M worked just fine and dandy for Morrowind and Oblivion, no reason to mess with the tried and true.Thre are two controllers.
Mouse & Keyboard.
Playing Bethesda games on a console is a joke.

Any game with music made by Jeremy Soule.NicotineKidHave to agree that any game with a soundtrack done by Jeremy Soule is guaranteed to have some highly memorable tracks. Just a few off the top of my head: - Morrowind, Oblivion - Icewind Dale - Dawn of War - Company of Heroes Oddly enough, Dawn of War II had an equally, if not more memorable soundtrack even though they picked a different composer.

Better yet, good thing that the Steam forums are completely isolated from Steam itself. Requiring users to have two different accounts was a smart move.
It's good in the sense that they can take the forums offline without it affecting Steam store operations, but still, you have to wonder how many people use the exact same login for both their forum and Steam accounts. I'm sure they can sort out any compromised accounts if it comes to that, but it'll still take some time to prove ownership of an account.According to reports around the Internet, Steam's official forums were hacked last night. Users are reporting that the message board keeps redirecting them to a site run by the hacking group known as "Fknowned."Destructoid"Steam forums allegedly hacked" - Destructoid Edit: One thing that Kotaku alluded to in another article -- the Steam forums are a completely separate entity from the Steam store, but it wouldn't be surprising if people chose the same account login for both. No word yet on whether the forum user database was compromised.
