Thanks for your help so far guys! Sometimes when I pick up a weapon its says "Unidentified," what does this mean? And, how do you know the max of a weapon? I dont know, it just seems like I see a lot of people goin around with weapons made of of lightnining or fire or ice and armor that looks better than what the NPC heroes have, and I was wondering how to get them. But here the thing that confuses me: Enemies don't drop armor.... so how do they get these rare "maxed" armors? Or do they find some super armorsmith in a rare town somewhere?

I have an in-game friend that helps me with missions and he hasn't been on in a while and I forgot to ask him how he got his armor/weapons. He has the weapon Prince Rurik had (before he died), it's a sword with like 2 thin blades with fire, supposively its awesome. And his armor is like some kind of heavy knight-looking armor. I dont know where he got it and he hasn't been on in a while for me to ask, do any of yall know?

Hi, I'm a new player to Guild Wars and I currently own Prophecies & Factions. I have a lvl 15 Elementalist/Necromancer, Level 5 Warrior/Monk, Level 1 Ritulalist. I have not really played factions campaign yet. I've played for 3 weks but I still hardly know anything about weapons/armor. I see all these high guys walkin around with crazy weapons/armor. The only places I see to get armor is at the armorsmith (but he only has 3 kinds so far- and they all have the same stats so far). I'm currently in Kryta (towards the beginnin of it). Does anyone know like a good website for weapons & armor or where to buy them? Or could someone just tell me. Currently I have a wand that does 9-14 air damage & a flame artifact in the other hand, +9 energy.

Okay, I just got a new laptop and it has 512MB of ram (but I'm about to double that so 1024MB) and you can share anywhere from 16MB-128MB to the video, I have not the best internet but alot better than dial up (but I wouldnt consider it broadband). But my questions are:

Can I run the original Guild Wars on Vista?

I'm a casual player looking for an MMO that is still fun w/o having to play for 4-5 hours EVERYDAY. Will this game work for me?

I have played Knight Online, Last Chaos, Nexus, and some older PC games (Starcraft/Warcraft etc.) games w/ my internet. Will Guild Wars do ok? (I currently experience occasional late night lag).

Finally, can any of yall tell me the best thing about GW and explain it a little. Like about the paths and the PvE part of it?
