It's all about perspective. I see a lot of people here surprised, but I know plenty of female gamers who play all the same shooters and gory stuff that we do. A couple of them even enjoy them more than I do, myself... which I find troubling.

I doubted this, at first, but then I took into account how much of the majority of male gamers are more dedicated gamers than some of their female counterparts. Generally speaking, I've noticed that while there may be nearly as many female gamers as male gamers, it's just that many female gamers don't game as often or as thoroughly, and thus we don't notice them quite as much.

So, it makes sense.

@Hop103 You're forgetting about the broad gaming audience who don't know anything about what's going on and will buy it just because it's what's next. Unfortunately, there are more of them than there are of us. The Xbox One will do just fine.
