Get a sorcerer to hold it , and keep it flaming all the time . Although , i was a magick archer , in which i just had to keep Sixfold-bolt it like crazy or explosive rivets.

Perhaps the most unique thing about Dragon's Dogma is the companion system .

Aside your own 'Pawn' you can choose those from other users through a network , in which you have access to other pawns which amay have a more different variety of skill sets and structures in which you could change your tactic with. This is what makes DD the most unique RPG of all , in which the AI aren't just simple companions , they are companions uniquely created and shared globally.

The downside however is the limitation of the network , in which you need the internet to actually play this game to the fullest . It is very difficult to play with ordinary pawns and tactics cannot be maximised with Normally-designed pawns in which you can only use the same few tactics.

In addition , another way why this game is not fully made for gamers is the DLCs. You have to buy the so called and unliked 'DLCs' to play the game fully , in which you have to pay unreasonable prices for a full game , this is what gamers hate , 'DLCs' and non-gamers 'think' they appreciate . Capcom has somewhat disappointed us from now .

Despite its downsides , it is still a good game with the new game plus and dragon forge novelty , and its good RPG elements , in which an airhead can't play this game . It is not at all dumb-down because you really need to think before you act and prepare before a fight or you would really "Game Over".

Counting in the bad parts , i'd give a 9.0

Demon/Dark souls can do after you play Dragon'dogma which you would be playing before witcher cuz D/Dark souls is maximum hardcore .

Dragon's Dogma was a huge improvement cuz of its companion-non-stupidness. you won't find dragon's dogma dull cuz of its companion system , which is extremely unique in its own way , a novelty.

Must be too hardcore lol , I find it not too hard , you just needa grind a little bit , although you can get frustrated.

It's not repetitive , the bosses vary , the game is not short either , about 40 hours to complete .

The storyline has it's moral so , i think it should get a 9.0.

P.S , challenge that is too much of a challenge may make a lot hate the game.

I haven't played diablo and D2 before , but even I could see this is a typical simplified game . Lack of variety and full of repetition . DRM was what made it worse but you can see its the least of your worries. Its like someone kicked your balls and in return you give them a Bjob.
