@jenovaschilld: Oh, I've had plenty to play since I got my PS4 a year ago. I'm not making the "there's no games" argument, which is silly. Just not a torrent of great exclusives for either console, really. With multiplats, it's well worth it to own one, I just don't see a point in owning both yet. 2016 is shaping up to be pretty awesome already, and if we get the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Cyberpunk 2077 in 2017... well, that's two things to look forward to for then.
@may967873: Sorry, I don't owe my allegiance to a plastic box. I have objectively-based preferences (which, coincidentally, are the opposite this gen to what they were last gen) but I'm loyal to my own gaming experience, not to a brand.
What exclusives? Halo 5 and Forrza... fine. The others are a timed exclusive, two remasters, and a free-to-play game. Not saying that the Playstation 4 necessarily has a great exclusive line-up coming up, but I hardly find the Xbone's exclusives compelling.
@Coco_pierrot: I was talking about the Zelda games on the Phillips CDI. :P
Nintendo treated third party devs pretty bad back on the NES and SNES.
Continuing with cartridges on the N64 was just an asinine move, but the CDi was a flop, and they pissed off Sony, and Nintendo was clearly not up to the task of developing their own CD-based console, for whatever reason.
