I'm sorry but the character designs are the worst thing, and in no way an improvement over the classic designs or interesting at all. They butchered Splinter and April. Stop fixing what ain't broken?

Venom 2 has established that it has a hive mind across all universes with the different Venom symbiotes. That means the venom symbiote from Spider-Man 3 that bonded with Peter told all the other Venom’s who Spider-Man is. So yes, Venom knows full well who wears the Spider-Man suit despite having no Spider-Man in his universe.
Regarding the spell: since doctor strange messed up the spell once, it’s not too far fetched to think he didn’t do it 100 percent correct again. Spoilers: Dr Strange was sweating at the end of the movie to fix everything. He barely was able to keep it all together with his power alone. Also, Venom can divide himself into atom sized pieces when needed like in this instance.
In conclusion: it’s Spider-Man, don’t overthink it.
The casting, the release date (after Halloween, wtf?) and the editing (lines not matching lips, choppy) all look terrible. At least some of the the creature designs look passable.
@dts15: If you both read the article above, it states they are making their first original game next, so not a remaster. Direction can change quickly after a buyout though.
*edit - first original game since 2006, possibly first AAA game ever made though coming up.
