That's just so... disappointing :/. Part of my love for Dark Souls remains because of how narrow of an audiance the game shot for. Such a quality is incredibly rare for AAA games.

I'm just using the DSfix mod. It unlocks both the 30fps cap and the resolution as well as other tweaks. I'm currently playing with an Xbox 360 controller so I didn't have to bother messing with the kb/m controls. Why do you want 30FPS cap? Wouldn't that only be good for people with lower end PC's?
When I said that it "unlocks the 30fps cap", I meant that it removes it. It was poor wording so my bad :P

No. Again, I'm on the fence. I've scene some gameplay footage and there are two feature I don't like; one being the conviction multikill thing and the other is the stealth feature where you can tell where the guards are gonna go.Same. The x-ray vision in particular. It really aggravates me how many stealth games do this today. It's a cop-out for interesting scouting mechanics like sticky cams and whotnot, IMO.
Assassin's Creed 3 multiplayer (one of the VERY rare instances of me enjoying the multiplayer the most in a singleplayer based game)

AI bugged the heck out of me at times (guards don't notice when I sloppily leave doors open? seriously?), but I did enjoy it for the most part. I particularly like the addition of the noise notifications and whatnot because it lets you focus more on your strategy rather than constantly second guessing whether or not a certain guard is going to spot you.
