Well for as long as I can remember males have been the majority of main characters in games for as long as I can remember. Even in today's world where everything is more diverse that hasn't really changed a lot. I would prefer to play a male main character just because that's what I'm used to although I don't have no problem playing as a female lead. I loved Lightning although I always used Fang from FFX-13 because I liked her more.
@marius068 I'm not so sure this one will be crap at all. I've yet to see a bad movie that had Legendary Pictures attached to it. Everything I've seen from them has been pretty epic so my hopes are pretty high at this point.
These false claims of violent video games being related to all these horrible crimes is nothing but total bull. It amazes me that they still continue to blame video games when more than likely this individual was probably mentally disturbed. I find it amazing that people keep electing these clueless politicians who have no idea how to do there jobs properly and shift the blame where it doesn't belong.
I'll never understand why people try and use violent video games or just games in general as scapegoats when there is no evidence that violent games are linked to real world violence. I still remember playing God of War 3 for the first time and seeing what Kratos does to Helios I was like damn that was pretty badass but it didn't want to make me go do that to someone else. This Senator needs to get over himself and leave the gaming industry alone they aren't responsible in the least bit for what happened in Newtown although it was a tragedy. My favorite thing is he said we have no credibility. If violent video games were the cause wouldn't the whole world be full of mass murderers?
@fishforme2 Not sure on that I would imagine so will have to wait and see. The guy was saying they took a lot of stuff out for the demo but I can't imagine blood would be one of them. Of course when your fighting outside it looks cold as hell so maybe blood freezes soon as you shoot someone? I'm sure it wouldn't in RL but this is a game afterall.
I'm pretty certain they never stated anywhere that you will have to buy the micro-transactions to beat the game. Sure it might be considering cheating by some since you can buy the in-game mats and upgrade your rig and such early on compared to normal. I don't understand why people continue to bitch and whine about this stuff if you don't want to do it don't do it. If you buy the game play it how you want to normally or buy stuff with money it's your choice they aren't twisting your arm and making you spend your hard earned money.
@endorbr @WhiteStormy People will always hate games that's a fact of life. No matter how much they love the series or a new game people will always find something to pick at. Just because you don't like "insert game here" doesn't mean millions of others don't.
I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me but I think Resident Evil 6 is the best one yet. The actually loved the ideal of having multiple campaign's. A lot of people probably feel like they have gone away from the original Resident Evil's and of course they have to some degree. Times change and so do games have to change as well. The story was fairly well and the new character's are a pretty good addition to an already great cast of characters.
