I am a great fan of the devil may cry series, but this game I will pass... They've made a lot of changes in the fighting mechanics and gameplay that breaks the fell of being a devil may cry game. You can't target enemies like before, so the game feels more like god of war or ninja gaiden than the really awesome devil may cry (regarding the fighting mechanics). About the characters.. It just don't feel like a devil may cry game... They've could change the name of the game to any other and people would never tell that this game is related to the devil may cry series, basically because the gameplay and fighting mechanics feel a lot more awkward and downgraded compared to the past games... ninja theory f***ed up the game Pedro_Fayad

as a long time DMC player it was too easy even on SOS omg its the every noobs wet dream of a dmc game

also framerate doesnt look very hot on ps3..

if you are new to dmc you will enjoy it but for me it was really dissapointing

also Big Bang skill is needed to grind the trainings map you basiclly one shooting 6 enemys with 1 attack

There is nothing fresh about taking a 60fps franchise and rebooting it to a 30fps franchise.

well said and besides every DMC to date added mechanics and improved the combat

where DmC only new features are being able to jump cancel anything, a broken DT and broken Stylishmeter pretty weak imo        and overall speed of the game is too slow.. 

I like the art design but everything else sucks imo

If there's any sort of sequel, I hope it goes with the continuity of other games, and not this one.

They could make DMC5, wrapping up the stories of all the characters and finally moving on from that dead point DMC2 set. You know, the one that Capcom couldn't get past, so they had to make a prequel with DMC3, and then DMC4 came around, still not moving past DMC2's timeline.
