Much again mcshea gives another terrible review. While yes it one boys opinion, he is in the business of being a professional as well. He obviously didn't see The word remastered in the title. Remastered doesn't mean you change the core game. Just because its not dust, or spelunky, or (insert any other modern platformer) doesn't mean it should score lower. Check your peers even they gave it at least a 6 with better reasons for it.
@rawkstar007 This can be traced back to Rage. He has switched his loyalties to consoles as he can sell more on those platforms. Also since quakecon is going on he is getting asked these questions.
This just made me laugh. Speed wise the PS4 is going to trump the xbox and that is where my priorities lie. Also if you want to bring in exclusives for the xbox one, most of them will eventually end up on pc. It already happens now with 360 titles, and with the x86 system in place the chances of more coming to pc are even greater.
Microsoft can't seem to stand on one point for very long. They come out and say the specs won't matter, (which if you are a pc enthusiast it does) Then come out and say they added a measly 53mhz to their graphics card.
Obviously carmack like a lot of developers and publishers these days don't really know their audience. The developers want digital because it means less money used in physical manufacturing. Which of course developers and publishers want because they believe the used market is killing their income....
I think anyone would be happy with just making the same game just a different story and sell it by the millions. Little work and a lot of money gained... seesh what a joke.
@Signifiedsix @armyown Enjoying your 4 year old games on xbox? Considering ill never have a reason to stop PS+ i wouldn't have to worry about not being able to play the games i get to play for free through PS+. Also with the requirement for online play who would stop their PS+ anyways?
Microsoft knows they are losing this battle early so they need the ads to cover losses. No one watches tv and says, man i love watching my favorite cable tv show, but what i love more is watching commercials. The same thing works for ads.
On my console i want to play games, not watch tv, not move my hands about, and certainly not be bogged down with advertisements. I don't think microsoft is learning it's lesson.
You can't even compare ps+ to gamefly. Sure you have access to newer games however you can only have one. Ps+ allows you access to any of its free games at anytime for as long as you're a member.
