They won't add wiimote support. But I have a very important question, does the Wii U Netflix streams in HD?Rod90

From the few things that I've watched on Netflix on the Wii U, I would say yes. I dont know if its 720p HD or 1080p, all I know is that it looks clear. The movies look exactly the same on the Wii U as they do on my moms computer with a 22" HD flat screen monitor.

It'll probably get patched in.

Since something that I've noticed is that when you press the home button while watching a video and then close the gamepad home menu, Netflix exit out of the video. While if you do the same action on the 3DS's Netflix and Wii's Netflix (I think) when you close off the home menu and return to Netflix, the video will simply continue to play.

So I do belive that Netflix will probably get patched, hopefully sooner rather than later and hopefully they will include Wiimote support, for those who want it, in the patch also.

I need some help with youtube videos on IE on the 360. I know how to play the videos and how to increase the quality, but it seems like youtube has major frame rate, sound sync, and slow down issues when trying to watch videos in anything higher than 420p in full screen on its browser. The work around for this problem that I have found is to have the youtube player in medium size and to zoom into it so that it covers the whole screen. But doing that for every video is time consuming and isnt a real fix since the video image is being compressed and then zoomed into. So anyway, Is there anyway to watch a HD Youtbe video (720p or1080p) in full screen on the 360's web browser without suffering from frame rate drops/ slow downs and sound sync issues?

I thought it was a site bug because of the layout transition, which I despise right now unless I missed something that allows me to see my subscriptions' uploads by default.

thetravman

I believe it is a bug. I tweeted the @Ytcreators and told them about youtube not working, I also tweeted Nintendo, and I also clicked on "send feedback" on youtube's website through the Wii U's web browser.

Few Questions Please Try & Help :

1- About how long does the demo take to dl on the wii u ?

2- How does this game compare graphicly & gameplay wise to origins on ps3 ?

3- Will i have enough space to dl being that i only have the 8gb wii u or should i start hooking up a hard drive ?

Thank you

wurydaz

  1. Depends on your internet connection, my brother says it only took a few minutes. (We have Verison Fios)
  2. Never played Origins, but from what I hear Legends does look better.
  3. You should, its only 557mb.

Actually apppearently youtube still works, you just have to do a few things. And you can increase the video quality too, just like you can on PC.
