It's funny how the most disliked people always win.

I think journalists should stop criticizing artists. It's their game, their art, their expression. All you're doing is making yourself look like a fool.

You want a game with LGBT and all the fruity rainbow colors under the light spectrum? Do it yourself.

You want a game with all asian characters? Do it yourself.

You want a game with all black characters? Do it yourself.

It shouldn't be a problem when it comes to the discussion of racism if the intent isn't to be racist.

Cyerpunk chose to make mostly everyone hispanic because they wanted what they thought California would look like in 2077. And tbh I really liked that art direction considering I am from Cali myself and I am a Latino. It made a lot of sense to me. It also made sense that the rich and wealthy would be Asian. I think there should have been more Indian characters because the Bay Area has a lot of them in tech but their representation mostly lied with LA.

How did fetterman win lol. That debate was awful. I guess it really doesn't matter who runs anymore. And I'll say the same thing if H Walker wins.

It doesn't anymore. People vote based on partisanship now because of the reputation of both parties. Social media has also made voters more misinformed.

Transgenderism is a social phenomenon that we don't truly understand so to make an assumption like that is ignorant.

Many people have different reasons to why their transgender.

Possibilities:

Prenatal development (chemical exposure with unintended consequences).

Grooming. Not understanding abstract social concepts. This is why autistic people are the most affected by it because they cannot fully understand the social structure of it and the feelings that they express. This is not to say autism causes transgenderism, just that they are more susceptible to it. This is for the same reason pedophilia is prevalent among autistic people because of that disconnect with social norms.

To add onto grooming. Websites sell black market HTR and many moderators on discord use it to groom teenagers into taking them so they can send them "trap pictures." I can name a few websites but I won't name them here. They are very easy to get. I myself was groomed this way too but I didn't go the route of HTR like some.

The definition of gender has change to distinguish itself from sex. Gender is social construct and a form of expression which makes it different from gender dysphoria. This is a cultural phenomenon in that gender is not binary and can be expressed in many different forms.

Porn addiction. You can't deny that porn addiction plays a role in people's taste of others and themselves. There is a hypno community with the intent to feminize men and boys into becoming females. It's more of a fetish but some make it their lifestyle.

@nirgal: I agree, economical background makes much more sense.

Which affirmative action sort of does already but it doesn't specifically focus on economical background but more so with socioeconomical statistics. This paints a broad brush and removes a lot of outliers from the equation.

Affirmative action works but has unintended consequences. People of lower socioeconomic status because of America's past policies affecting future generations get a decent opportunity at economic mobility. But this doesn't benefit those who are poor and white, or poor and Asian.

Wealthier people tend to get better grades because they don't need to work while going to college and they get helps from tutors. They have more flexibility when it comes to success. A lot of white people just so happen to benefit from a lot of that because of America's inequality with segregation and slavery.

Slavery has been gone for close to 200 years, and segregation has been eliminated for almost 5o years the only thing that holds a person back is the person themselves. Some may have to work harder or more but they can achieve the same results.

I only bring up two extreme examples that everyone is familar with. What occured in the past still affect some today because of that lack of economic mobility. They didn't get the head start others got from unethical means.

We can talk about other problems too other than slavery.

Like how property was stolen from the US by lynching mexicans and and stealing their property after the Mexican war with America. They promised they would get the same rights under the US but since they didn't speak English very well, they were taken advantaged of by the legal system and many lost their property because of it. That is a hurdle that affects many minorities today. Imagine if some of them had kept their family businesses and properties. Where would those future generations be today?

The US has done so much fucked up shit against minorities and it's like not it stopped a 100 or so years ago. Every step of the way it benefited white people because under the law and the system, they weren't affected by the systematic discrimination.

Keep in mind I am not blaming white people. Some are ignorant and innocent about this issue and probably played no role in the matter but you can't deny the fact that they benefited from a racist system.
