@Greyfox-101: Fully agree. Still play DS1 now and then. It had a rough atmosphere. DS2 was ok but too slick, DS3 was a big step away towards ordinary shooters, the kazillion-ways-of-weapon-construction-kit ridiculous and boring. But I'm not complaining, no, DS1 remains a treasure. It's the Alien of gaming.
Nintendo seems to have solved the problems us Europeans had up to now. I could download the four new Streetpass games without any trouble while it crashed all previous times yesterday.
@ccanfield1 Not sure whether it's what you wanted but the update does give you the chance to select color and level now. By the way, Nintendo seems to have solved the crash problem for European folks. I could download the four new Streetpass games an hour ago while it crashed before when I wanted to. Not sure it had anything to do with people having plus 200 heroes in their Streetpass database. In that case all Japanese users should have had troubles and they haven't as far as I know.
Dead Space was near to brilliant and then they went to please the crowd and buried the franchise with DS2 and DS3 by turning it into an ordinary shooter and multiplayer trash. Not sure what crowd they were pleasing, certainly not the crowd that was swept away by a game that succeeded in catching the same spirit that excited us when the original Resident Evil was released. The good thing about DS2 and DS3 was that I found them so bad, I returned to DS1 and noticed I'd forgotten how good it was.
