The Splinter Cell series, i probably know every pixel of these games inside and out, but these games were my childhood and they never get old.

Any word on a trilogy pack coming to the 360, or if the first 2 will be released on Xbox Live aswell? Ive been playing through the 3rd one again lately, but I never got to play through the first or second. I heard a collection was coming out on PS3 last September (I dont know if it did though), so I was really hoping it would happen on 360 too.

First off, i'm really sorry for responding 4 months later, i've been really inactive here on Gamespot. But about the Trilogy pack, no i don't think it will come for the 360, sadly. The first 3 Splinter Cell games was A LOT more better on Xbox back then (Graphics, Gameplay, Framrate, Online gameplay, etc.) so the idea behind this trilogy was mostly for the Playstation users who has been playing on slightly worse versions of the game to be able to fully experience the best versions of these games (Besides the multiplayer, which didn't return in the Trilogy). I would really recommend to buy the first and the second game if you haven't played them already by now, they are exactly the same as the trilogy versions. You would easily find them both for less than 10$ (like 7 euro), but be aware of graphicical problems in these games. I tried to install them and i encountered problems in both of the games when it came to shadows and stuff, so it can be really buggy on newer computer riggs.

'Achievements'... Who really cares...

Well, I guess you and your XBL buddies do, but they're an insignificant part of PC gaming (and I do hope it stays that way).

Well, if i can buy a version with achievements and bonus stuff on a local store for the same price as the sale on steam, why not? I asked this since the store was closed today and if the Steam version was the same as the retail one. And no, i'm not that active on Xbox anymore if you think i'm some kind of "console-kid", i'm mostly playing on my PC nowadays anyway. I just happen to enjoy games more with achievements since the value gets better and much more enjoyable, even after you've completed the game (IN MY OPINION).

Fallout: New Vegas uses Steamworks.
cancer
SAGE_OF_FIRE

And that pretty much means that they've taken away the Games For Windows Live support if i am correct?:?

Hi guys. I saw that Fallout: New Vegas had a sale on Steam and know that it has support for Games for Windows Live, and that steam has it's own version of the same achievements. Now, with Games For Windows Live, you can connect your Xbox Live account to it and receive your achievements on your Xbox Live profile, and i wonder if i still will be able to use the Games For Windows Live option since Steam has its own version of achievements? Does the Steam version have GFWL? Or have they removed it from that version? Why i care about this? - I find it slightly more satisfying to add gamerscore to my Xbox Live account that i have been using for soon 4 years, rather than receive steam achievements that doesn't give you any points or rewards what so ever.

Thanks. :)

Wouldn't consider them as old games. The games you mentioned are maybe a year or two old or so. I would consider games that are 5-10 years old as "old" games.

Gears of War and Halo has always been games i enjoy, both has epic campaigns so i have a hard time desiding which one i enjoy more but i'll probably say i actually prefer the Gears of War series. I think they are more gripping and leaving a story behind that i personally think is better. ODST and Reach didn't leave so much to remember in my opinon. :)
