Resistance Fall of Man. I have yet to finish it, and though #2 looks great, I bought #1 too late so no one plays online anymore.

NBA Street Homecourt as well since it's nothing like it used to be (V2 was best).

For PS2 games... mmm... Tony Hawk Underground is all I can remember. In my PS2 days my parents bought me games, now that I have a job every penny spent is either enjoyed or agonized over.

I would have said Blue Ray because it forced the 700 dollar price tag.

However, Sony will invest big in the future as Blue Ray prices go down, not to mention that the Ps3 is affordable now.

PS3 exclusives are already on par with 360 exclusives, so there's no need for that 2006 argument anymore

First of all no.

Second, get some help.

johnlennon28

unless your'e a female I would say youre the one who should get some help if you dont watch it, I watch it with my fiance all the time to set the mood, but tnx for the answer anyways, at least I know my ps3 would be safe from viruses

Too much information.

Let's go back to the topic: I don't know why Flash 9 would cause viruses.

You should be fine.

Even I didn't expect THAT low of a score. I can't believe that this game was even made. I mean, here is the inevetable question that is likely to pop up: "What's Rock Revolution?"

I also feel sorry for the person getting this game. I can imagine the outcome to be something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H30YrFg3rqQ (Enjoy the video, it's hilarious) (Please, someone link this for me)

Here are the highlights of the review:

On Drums:

Compared to the Rock Band drum set, the Rock Revolution peripheral is an abomination that must be destroyed lest it breed and multiply. Picture a 1980s-era toy electronic drum kit that's been flattened and compressed into a tight rectangle. Then assign each of the seven (yes, seven) pads a different color and make some of the shapes circles of different sizes while others are triangles with rounded surfaces. It's a failed peripheral from the start, but I haven't even gotten to the worst of it yet.

Part of the problem is that all the falling notes appear as circles, which doesn't help your brain separate the triangular pads from the circular ones on the set as you're playing. Confused yet? We're just getting warmed up.

Playing the drums in Rock Revolution makes you feel less like a rock star and more like you're taking some kind of psychological test after sustaining a head injury. So many shapes and colors... can't I just lie down, doc?

On Songs:

The songs are all covers, and most are embarrassingly bad. Instruments sound flat and lifeless.

On Vocals:

There are none ;)

And this is considered an RPG? Well it's American, so I guess that answers it.

Teufelhuhn

British, actually.

Thank you for the correction.

IGN says the main story is like 12 hours...WHAT??

And this is considered an RPG? Well it's American, so I guess that answers it.

Still I was expecting a 9.5 for this game. Of course 8.5 is a terrific score as well and this only matters to people who love comparing the tiniest of things, but I'm dissapointed by the actual content more than the score.

Not to mention that the story apparantly isnt that deep or captivating, or that the NPC characters dont have any real life to them (except your dog). All this is what I'm reading and it's what I expected from an RPG game.

I'm a ps3 owner but this was one of the titles I really wanted on the 360. I am dying for an RPG that's lengthy and traditional, but I guess Fable 2 doesn't cut it. Good thing White Knight Chronicles for the PS3 is a good 50-100 hours. Level 5 is a great team.

Still I'm shocked, I was expecting Fable 2 to have more content. Still, it's a great exclusive that isn't a shooter and I would've (eventually) picked it up sometime down the line if I had a 360

It's ridiculous what people say about game developers.

Did this game even need a story mode? No.

Sure it rests on community creations but that's like saying God is lazy for not making things like houses, tvs, cars, computers. The tools are given by him (Sorry atheists, it's just an analogy) but it's up to us to make the best of it.

This game releases the Pandora's Box of creativity and people question the so called laziness of the game developers.

LBP is a game unique of itself. I feel that some people expect it to have had a story like Halo or Resident Evi.

I hardly think that they're lazy and anyone who thinks otherwise better provide reasonable evidence to support their claims

jubino

BAM.

That was epic.

Because he just proved that Media Molecule = God.

Yeah, quite a rant. The story mode is a little misleading because it doesn't seem like there's a true "story" to be told, but more of a collection of very loosely connected levels. Really fun though.

I re-edited what I said :D

The point is, stop nitpicking at something that is not there.
