Hey, I haven't posted in forever! (That's not true, I was on a little during break...but I'm getting busy again. >_< ) How've you been?

Play to records. Play to songs you like. Burn a cd, put on some headphones and jam along. You'll probably have to get some big DJ headphones so you can hear the music over yourself. This will teach you to play by ear and eventually you'll pick up on songs really fast. Don't necessarily try to copy everything exactly. Try to coppy the feel and groove thats on that track.

That's how I learned to play...a pair of fake plastic drum sticks in my room with music blaring. For a few years, I did it just to relax, then I realized that I could actually play drums. Neat. :P
