nightfire99, its not old technology, heck they just came out with a 8gb SD card. Solid/Cartridge based devices are in no way old technology, you think Nintendo couldn't have made a system using mini-disc that was portable, of course they could have. But Nintendo, best of all, knows what portable means, not fancy graphics and bells and whistles but good fun in short burst. The PSP is a great system, but it is not a great portable system, imagine if it took 30 seconds for your phone to load up each time you wanted to make a call, or that long for pictures to show up on the screen in your camera, people would cry foul. Anyway, don't call stuff old tech when it is not, annoying to see people do that.

hey keerazy "my load times for DBZ is 6 frigging second wtf is that 86", you lie and you know it, the intro probably take more than 6 seconds to get through, plus they said not counting standbye, you want to count standbye? Then all my DS games load in 1 second.

rbrtchng1 First the DS can play MP3s and Video, just not out of the box, get your facts strait. Secondly, I would much rather have the DS's d-pad than the one annoying analog stick the PSP has. Third, how about you suggest games in each genre to be compared between PSP and DS? PSP and DS are both great systems.

"WhiteSox88 *sigh* Does anyone else miss the old style Pokemon games? Now it's just this stuff. I'm losing faith in this franchise. " Have any of you people heard of Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond, they will most likely be released later this year or next year, they release them soon in Japan, so keep faith, though a 3d old style Pokemon would be cool, we can only hope.

This article was good, and if gamespot continues to make features at this rate it will be even better, keep up the good work.

@Dee_Cee89, XP is not a terrible OS, its just not a great or solid OS, if it was a terrible OS( and if all Windows OSs where terrible) why would it be so prevalent? Win98 was not terrible, if you think it is then your probably either a Mac fanboy or a Linux fanboy or a Microsoft hater.

rahl247 As far as the asian market we all know over there they are 10 yrs ahead of us.also if u think u are a game freak anyone overthere is 2 times more into games then anyone here. some of them play games 17 hrs a day and they live for games they will play anythen over there even if it was an atarri theyd still play it. So of course sales is better there thats all they do over there. They have places where its filled with consoles and computers and u pay hrly to sit and play and there are lines waiten to play on them.Besides theyd rather buy a system then pay there rent or eat.No lie i was told this first hand from an asian friend. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You make so many false statements its funny, asia is 10yrs ahead of us, in what tech? If your talking about tech then your dead wrong, the asian developers look up to the western developers for high end tech stuff. If you mean in terms of developed, not really as gaming really started in the west. You way over exaggerate the asian gaming culture, you hear a couple of reports of people doing crazy gaming hours and you assume that everyone does. Being into games also isn't a matter of time investment as it is knowledge of games, if someone spends 16hrs a day playing only WOW but knows nothing about any other games out, I would call them into games, I would say there into WOW. Back on topic, I think they will stick with the $60 price tag, as that seems reasonable though having the games for $50 would be really nice.

Nice, I can't wait, even if the content itself isn't that compelling, GS usually manages to make up for that with wit, humour and style, and this looks to be good in all those categories. Oh and the World cup feature you guys did( the video) was awesome, keep it up.

Very nice article. Its nice to see that gamespot seems to be making more useful features like this one. Some of the stuff I already new and others it was a refresher but it was useful to see it all distilled and put in one place. Keep up the good work.
