@IanNottinghamX: I agree with you wholeheartedly. Not only the full emphasis on the films but the exclusion of X-Men and FF from merchandising, as well as certain characters taking on the appearance and personality of their movie counterpart.
The comics, overall, are okay. But this new penchant for repetition is becoming annoying.
I truly fear what will happen when the movies eventually stop making tons of money.
@GreenReuben @istuffedsunny Shipped 3.4 million copies. With high profile games tons of copies sit around for ages. Sony is always deceptive in their wording.
Sounds like some type FPS MMO, which would make necessary to be online. I think the "always online" bit is just this website trying to use hot words to get you people riled up. And it works beautifully.
Why don't you tools wait for Microsoft to announce the fucking thing before you bring out the torches and pitchforks? If it's not something you want, then don't buy it. Or just rage pointlessly in some Internet forum. But at least wait until it's official. Gits.
Employees are assets. If Activision doesn't have any use for them, what are they supposed to do? Keep them employed for the sake of human kindness? Doesn't work that way.
It's okay, Kojima. I'm very sure your writing will be as ham-fisted, convoluted and nonsensical that no one will understand or care about how taboo the issues you're tackling are. And no one who would complain enough to get the game banned will sit through that long-winded garbage you've been shoveling down gamers' throats for the past two decades, you pretentious fucking hack.
Valve has ZERO incentive to make this proposition viable. They would have to be willing to invest resources into creating a system that would only cost them money. Even if they were to charge a nominal fee per transaction, they would fall out of favor with the developers and publishers.
