First off, I have a Master's Degree in Mass Media, I've written research papers on the subject and I have worked in Mass Media for over 6 years. So it's not just me making this shit up.

Look up some older films, like the original Star Wars. Not once in the movie do two female characters talk to each other. And the rest of the movie is dominated by White males. And movies even today have this problem.

We are a diverse society, and our movies and media should reflect that. And if you have a problem with more diverse movies and media you need to ask yourself why you have a problem with it.

Might be some closeted bigotry.

...to what? Japan was at war, yeah but what tipped the pot to drop a nuke on them? it wasn't retaliation. It was the systematic slaughter of 200 thousand civilians to end a war quickly.

You could argue that it was indeed retaliation due to the fact that Japan committed terrorism by bombing Pearl Harbor, presumably because they f***ing wanted to. Another point which you could argue was that it paved the way for heavy nuclear weapon policies by showing the world the horror that the nuke does. In addition, a mainland invasion of Japan or conventional firebombing would have produced the same number of casualties while bringing a slower conclusion to the war. In closing, your arguments don't hold up. Thank you and goodbye.

Then I will honestly be surprised, if not, a bit relieved. But come on, look at the direction the world is heading. Wars, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, droughts, fires, terrorism, wacky weather, revolutions, economic crisis etc. I'm not sure how old you are, but this is not normal. The News can't even keep up with all that's going on.

The television itself was invented in 1927. The World wide web's only been around for about 20. Whereas the age of the world is around 4.55 billion years old. You're pulling stuff out of your ass in an attempt to support your clause but all of this has happened before. Wars have been happening since the dawn of civilization. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and hurricanes are natural events, we don't have anything to do with them. Droughts are caused by natural variations in climate, and wildfire is an effect of drought. Wacky weather goes back to the previous points. Revolutions are normal when a section of an oppressive nation wants independence. Economic crises have been around for a while too.
