feel sad for Reggie, hes living in denial like the rest of the fanboys does.-Reggaeton-
Sony fanboys fail to consider that the majority of Playstation owners bought their PS2s for under 200 bucks. The price and the fact it was cheaper than a standalone DVD player are the primary reasons for the huge user base. The PS3 enjoys NONE of this and the current sales figures prove that beyond any doubt. The Wii is selling like hotcakes because of the price point. Until the PS3 i priced in a reasonable range for the average CASUAL (Sony's PS2 user base), they will continue to gather dust. Serious gamers are also on the sidelines due in part to the price, the lack of must have games and the lack of RUMBLE. No one ever said that Sony fanboys were intelligent. The fact that many of them paid over 2k for a system with no games and no rumble is testament to their room temperature IQs.

Lemmings are in complete damage control, seriously. Just stop with the damage control.Animeninja7
Damage control? The 360 has about 100 more games available than the PS3. There is no need for damage control, fanboy! besides that, it is going to take more than a "Sims" lobby system to make the PS3 worth owning. A rumble equipped controller is a must for most. I know of no one on my friends list willing to buy a PS3 as long as it is missing this STANDARD feature for console controllers. Figures that you CASUAL GAMERS are the only ones willing to live without it, and your spin doctoring over the lack of the feature is most amusing.

Fanboys are basically casual gamers. Only a casual gamer would blow off other legitimate platforms in order to stay loyal to a single one. This is especially true of those who choose a platform with the fewest games and the longest game droughts. The PS3 is a game wasteland at the moment. Only a casual gamer would be satisfied with that.

Bottom line: NO RUMBLE = NO SALE! I don't care what you Sony Fanboy/SpinDoctors say... A console controller without rumble = a DEAD gameplay experience. When Sony gets RUMBLE into their system we can talk, until then forget it. I am speaking for 95% of the game buying public.

I'll take RUMBLE over slightly improved background textures any day of the week! After putting over 120 hours into Oblivion on the 360, I simply can't imagine playing that game without a rumble equipped controller. That would just plain SUCK!

According to the official Xbox site, Gears of War will only support 8 players online.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/g/gearsofwar/default.htm

Did they just change this?

_LEGIONS_

GOOD! I'm tired of all these wingnuts with crappy connections trying to host 20 more players than their crappy broadband service can handle! Maybe we might actually have some relatively lag free games with this one?

P.S. Get use to the idea that Nintendo decided to price themselves out of the market. Everyone I have been talking to today on Test Drive Unlimited (A great MMO driving game you so called gamers will never play because it is on the 360) who had been planning to buy the Wii as a second console have changed their mind after hearing how expensive it is going to cost for what it is technologically. I am also in that group. Based on Nintendo's previous track record for huge game droughts and brining up third place with both console sales and third party support, the current price tag is just too high to take a chance on. Kind of funny to hear that you guys can't afford an HDTV, yet you are willing to risk what will end up being close to 400 bucks on wishful thinking. A smart gamer would buy a 360 for roughly the same price and have far more bang for their buck in terms of game variety, and HDTV to boot. By the way....Japan is no longer considered the gaming capital of the world. North America and Europe are far more relevant this time around. But by all means, don't let the facts get in the way of your dream world. ;)

[QUOTE="Alunanite"]Says the Lemming who had his console mowed over in E3.goblaa

Huh? MS came out swingin' at E3. They did great.

Exactly! What are these unemployed kids smokin? You can wish for your warped view of the future to be true all you want, but it AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN! Just because you and your school friends can't afford an HDTV doesn't mean that the majority of gamers in the largest demographic can't! You kids are in the minority. The largest group of gamers are in the 21-35 year old demographic. THEY CAN afford an HDTV. They are not that expensive if you are an adult with a job. I suggest you spend an hour at the exit of a Best Buy on a Saturday and count how many HDTVs you see leaving the store. Before you start another thread using your ass to do the talking... I suggest you go out and educate yourself about what is really going on in this industry. Then you won't look so freaking ignorant in public. The same goes for all the other clowns that are agreeing with your ridiculous prediction.

 You're kidding right? How can a suped up GameCube possibly beat modern HD capable consoles like the 360 and the PS3? Not everyone still games on a GoldStar 19" TV with RF input only!

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike ..... the onfoot missions were just..........blech~PsyCho90
Agreed! I bought it when it came out and was VERY disappointed! Got rid of it, so now my worst game is Super Mario Sunshine. The game just sucks!
