@Lacerz: Fair point, i have a lot of games but most of them are multi-platform. There really weren't any exclusive games this generation that made me stand out and say "I need X console for game Y" whereas the N64, PS2 and PS3 generations were clear for me. I knew what i liked at the time and Sony offered it to me. This generation, most of what i like is available on PC, now if i could just get a good strategy game like Command and Conquer Generals i would be one happy gamer.
@Barighm: Just because i dislike his list and his games, doesn't mean i don't have other games for PS4. It simply means that i considered the console worth buying because of uncharted 4 because before that is was all remaster bullshit for the most part. The same applies to the XB1, i only got one for gears but now i also have forza. Anything else is multi-platform and i tend to buy that for PC. Convenience of having a well paying job to suit my gaming addiction.
@Lacerz: Street Fighter doesn't interest me, neither do most of the game on the X1 list. As i already said. The ONLY two games in your lists that interest me are Uncharted and Gears which is why i own both consoles. I already own Mortal Combat, so i'm not going to buy another fighting game.
The Wii U has a lot of good games and exclusives but nothing that interests me, it's all personal taste! But i'll buy a Switch for Zelda alone :)
@Lacerz: The 4 games listed on the X1 side are more interesting to me than ALL the crap you listen on the PS side. I wouldn't waste my money on any of that. But i did buy a PS4 just for Uncharted and a X1 for Gears 4 so i'm a neutral gamer. I buy a system if it has at least one game i want.
Your list is crap tho, remove all the junk remasters too, otherwise you should add every 360 compatible game to the X1 side.
Best selling console in NA and ONLY in NA. Globally Play Station is outselling Xbox 2 to 1 still. If you're going to be a journalist, then at least present all the facts.
@orangerangervideos: franchise's continuity, the franchise being power rangers. But each series has been in it's own continuity for the most part. A continuity refers to the consistency of the plot, the people and the time period in short. Given that, the article is still referring to MMPR as a stand alone franchise, which every rangers series can be interpreted as since it has it's own clothing line, toy line, etc.
You're arguing semantics, yet when i read the article. I perfectly understood what the author was saying given the context and wording. But i do understand how you made the mistake.
@CreXONe: I'm on the fence with that. Single player games get judged on story. Multiplayer games get judged on gameplay alone, Going by that alone i don't think overwatch should have won since it's gameplay didn't stand out to me about the other games listed. I did find it funny tho that Blood and Wine a DLC won over Darksouls 3 but at the same time i did enjoy B&W a LOT more than DS3.
@CreXONe: I'm an uncharted fan, i don't care that uncharted didn't win. But overwatch is a hyped mess. Most of the gaming community would agree as evident by user reviews already. It's fun but not game of the year. But at the same time this is my opinion, the reviewers had their own opinions as well. Doesn't mean we agree on them.
