I've always been a huge fan of the entire Halo series for the soundtrack. It gives the series a great space opera feel. In particular, Halo 3 ODST had a brilliant soundtrack, which was a lot more subdued than most of the other series.
I've heard nothing but good things about the reliability of intel SSDs. I just bought the 160GB Intel 320 last week, and I'm really happy about it. From memory, the newest Vertex SSDs are faster, but are more expensive at the same time. Keep in mind that the larger sized SSDs do tend to have greater throughput than the smaller (e.g. 60GB ones).
Out of curiosity, why are you looking at a laptop, when you also want a large screen? You're kind of losing portability, which (imo) is the main reason to go for a laptop rather than a desktop.
Bump for great justice! Whilst a sticked thread isn't the best solution ever, the game isn't even released and we're getting a fair few threads -- and I can only expect it to go up when the game is actually released.
