There's no doubt the Jets and Pats are good... but are they good enough to make the SB? I think the team to watch out for this year is the Chargers. I'll be looking to draft P.Rivers in my FF draft tonight. I think he's going to have a huge season.ohjtbehaaave
yeah they can do it too. River is always cooking but for some reason they just fall flat at the end. This year might be different.

LONDON (Reuters) - Europeans are plagued by mental and neurological illnesses, with almost 165 million people or 38 percent of the population suffering each year from a brain disorder such as depression, anxiety, insomnia or dementia, according to a large new study.

With only about a third of cases receiving the therapy or medication needed, mental illnesses cause a huge economic and social burden -- measured in the hundreds of billions of euros -- as sufferers become too unwell to work and personal relationships break down.

"Mental disorders have become Europe's largest health challenge of the 21st century," the study's authors said.

At the same time, some big drug companies are backing away from investment in research on how the brain works and affects behavior, putting the onus on governments and health charities to stump up funding for neuroscience.

"The immense treatment gap ... for mental disorders has to be closed," said Hans Ulrich Wittchen, director of the institute of clinical psychology and psychotherapy at Germany's Dresden University and the lead investigator on the European study.

"Those few receiving treatment do so with considerable delays of an average of several years and rarely with the appropriate, state-of-the-art therapies."

Wittchen led a three-year study covering 30 European countries -- the 27 European Union member states plus Switzerland, Iceland and Norway -- and a population of 514 million people.

A direct comparison of the prevalence of mental illnesses in other parts of the world was not available because different studies adopt varying parameters.

Wittchen's team looked at about 100 illnesses covering all major brain disorders from anxiety and depression to addiction to schizophrenia, as well as major neurological disorders including epilepsy, Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis.

The results, published by the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ENCP) on Monday, show an "exceedingly high burden" of mental health disorders and brain illnesses, he told reporters at a briefing in London.

[QUOTE="Fuhgeddabouditt"]I admit, I screwed up a lot in this FF league. No_Hablo_Ingles
I just didn't get Holmes before A.Johnson and Gronk (TE) in the 3rd...

with all the mishaps, i still think im going to kick your ass. If not this week, it will happen in the rematch.

I was on the EAGLES hype train for a short while when they got Aso but quickly came back to reality. I dont think they'll make it that far.

They have a new defensive co. which is a huge question mark right now. Aso was great in Oakland but I will go as far as to say he will get exposed as being not so great this year with the EAGLES, especially if hes forced to move around. Meaning if Reid, which he planned on doing, forces him out of his comfort zone which is the ride side of the field, I can see him giving up a lot to receivers this year. This is just my guess.

And lets not forget their LBs.

Their OLine looked bad during the preseason forcing Vick to hurry his throws and to throw INTs.

Once again, blitz Vick, DeSean and crew doesnt get the ball and time and time again, teams get at Vick and their offense shuts down. I see that happening a lot this year and more so early on than late. I would LOVE to see Vick win the SB but I dont see it happening this year. I expect him to break down and having a backup QB who plays in a similar style wont help much.

Anyway, out of all the teams listed above, i'd be more confident with the Falcons this year and of course, the Green Bay Packers.

I know im a JETS fan but even if I wasnt, I'd say the JETS. Back to back AFCC games where many "experts" expected them to not even accomplish. An improved DL and some speed added to the secondary could really push them further (superbowl) this year. Also add on the fact that Mark Sanchez plays his best in big games, i'd go with the JETS.

It would also help if they win the division but time and time again, the Pats look like the favs and will most likely take it IF their OLine holds up. As for the Pats taking the title, I dont see that happening. They'll most likely get KO'd in flying colors again. Adding Ocho doesnt do much and Haynesworth, even if he goes back to his old self, he was never a sacking maching to begin with and is easy to game plan around.

Steelers , I dont see it happening. They dont strike me as controlling as many pain them out to be so no to them.
