many turned a blind eye because this is looking bigger than Sandusky. Many upper heads knew Sandusky was testing kids out and yet he was still allowed on campus, offered offices, etc?

Like I thought from day one, Sandusky has dirt on many and this can get uglier.

And as for Joe Pa? Screw him. Screw him and that penguin nose of his. This dude knew exactly what his friend did. Sees that dude roaming free and happy still didnt push him to do more. I cant believe thousands of idiots came out to support this "football before anything else" coach.

Heck, I wouldnt be surprised to hear later Joe Pa also wanted to live out his Roman Empire fantasies along with his buddy Sandusky.

word is that right now, Palmer will most likely not start Sunday because they're concerned with his ability to make "high-velocity throws" in a live, game setting after just three practices. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7131706/carson-palmer-oakland-raiders-unlikely-play-sunday-all-source-says

[QUOTE="rawsavon"]We agree. Golfers and drivers are not 'athletes' IMO (that is not the same as saying no athletes do those things). Both of those are learned skills

NASCAR is a sport of strength, skill, and endurance so one can look at the drivers and the teams as being athletic. These debate has been going on forever and has increased since Nascar numbers are increasing and the popular opinion is that its not a sport and the drivers arent athletes. I think they are.

Ive been watching Nascar since I was kid and I gotta say the cars, speed, and crashes. The skill set that is displayed along with the point system keeps things a bit more interesting as the season goes on.
