ahhh i gotcha flash fall, any how heres my top 10 1.Fargo (1995) 2.Its all Gone Pete Tong (2004) 3.Forrest Gump (1994) 4.Little Miss Sunshine (2006) 5.Fight Club (1999) 6.No country for Old men (2007) 7.The Shining (1980) 8.A Clock Work Orange (1971) 9.Watership Down (1978) 10.Reign over Me (2007) This as hard as clearly movies have certian things that are better then others. Putting classics under a coen film or a independent film is tough but thats just me liking somethng better. I know there a lot of newer movies on there but i was born in the 90's so, you know.

the matrix was more then just a popcorn flick, lets just put it that way.
there are strong ties of buddism and judiasm within the plot, but if you missed it, im sorry
yeah i know what you mean, actually to me its probably concider to be a modern classic, its just not my taste you know? personally i would not rank it above scarface or a clockwork orange. But yeah what part of it related to buddism? i mean i think i kind of get it, if you are talking about the whole reincarnation thing and excaping the illusion/game of society to reach nirvana. I never actually caught that tho, good interpretation. sorry i just had to respond to that.
