2Dark has already been cracked though... the core data encryption of Denuvo isn't going to really change that much, sure it might block them temporarily but no copy protection has ever completely stopped crackers, Denuvo isn't nearly as potent as Starforce was back in the mid 2000s and that was eventually beaten.

If you want to stop piracy, lower the costs - stop with the greed. Sure games these days cost a lot more than they did 10 years ago to make, but the sales more than make up for it along with very healthy profit margins especially now with stupidly overpriced DLC and season passes which you didn't have 10 years ago.. Stopping piracy starts with stopping publishers greed, there is absolutely no reason publishers should be charging $50 for season passes, or $10 for day 1 DLC costumes and junk like that.

Case and point, if the game is good - it'll doesn't matter if its on steam, origin, uplay or DRM free gog. Witcher 3 could have been pirated to death, but...shock?? Horror?? It wasn't??!! DRM isn't really so much about protecting sales, it is more about control - same with online authentication for single player games.

The only thing players new to the franchise need to know about Destiny is that expect Activision to nickel and dime you at every point, just like they did with the original, no matter how good the game is - the marketing practices wasn't.

Only a few of these actually look promising. It's like the creativeness in the industry is dying and the bosses just want games they can heavily monetize like Moba style games etc ~ I can see that genre getting so overpopulated that it'll become stagnant.

@Triton: Don't you get it? Everyone who pre-ordered the game, knew what they was getting - We ALL made an educated decision, based on what was sold us - and then, we all found out what we 'thought' we was purchasing, wasn't really the same game, this is whats called false advertising. We all saw the PVs and was amazed at the potential this game could do, and bring to the table. Multiplayer?? Yes..... then it became a 'maybe'....then nope, its not multiplayer is just one of the missing features. What about naming your ships? What about exploring large crashed ships on planets? What about Sand Worlds with giant Dunesque worms? What about large scale space battles? What about....?

@frodo232323 Don't be an idiot fanboy trying to defend this type of business practice, or openly lie because honestly, you're outnumbered significantly on how many people know Hello Games did not give us the same game that everyone was hoping for. I'd really like to see the figures on how many people actually did file for a refund on steam or other major platforms because I bet its pretty crazy. I wanted to defend this game, my review for this game was a lot fairer than most peoples, but this type of business practice really does hurt the freakin' industry - it might not hurt big IPS that much (cough///cough maybe Konami...) but for smaller developers and even indie titles it could become a problem. Peter Molyneux was well known for pulling stunts like this- yet people still purchased games from Bullfrog and later Lionhead, yet he became a figurehead of mistrust and now, Murray has joined him as someone who can't be trusted.

Read This~ educated yourself on NMS

https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/4y1h9i/wheres_the_no_mans_sky_we_were_sold_on_a_big_list/

Watch This~ for further clarification

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIp-muaAV_Q

Now tell me that this NMS is the same game we all feel in love with? No, its not - its already been proven with hundreds, if not thousands of youtube videos kinder proving all the shadiness going on here, and thats the legitimate point of refunds. If your sold a product with, lets say 10 main features but the product only actually has 2 main features then thats false advertising or deceptive marketing, and obviously you have a right to complain and voice your opinion.

And trust me, if nothing really happens with NMS or this huge PR disaster continues, 100% CALS will come at some point. I personally want the NMS that I fell in love with back when I first saw that initial PV, and I personally kept my eyes on development, and yes - it was being hyped alot but they was backing that hype with visuals, with interviews and videos (most likely on-rail tech demos) and this is why alot of people pre-ordered the game. There isn't no point defending this game, there really isn't that much point even hating on NSM, there isn't no point fighting on forums about this game, however - there is a point of actively trying to get HG to work on getting NMS to a point everyone can be happy with, and thats why I still own it and several of my friends are going through measures to get it refunded.

One Mans Lie is about right, I'm really hating all the fanboys trying to defend the extremely obvious false advertising, there are huge reddit posts explaining all the missing features, and its a freakin' huge list of omissions so every single refund is justified here, no matter the time played. In this situation, steam fails hard - the refund requests was becoming so rapid that they had to shut it down because they was losing serious money, so everyone who didn't get a steam refund is essentially becoming virtually robbed. My friend who has a good amount of hours on GoG just received his refund, the difference here is that probably limited amount of requests to GoG compared to steam.

I'll get my refund when this goes to a Class Action Lawsuit. I'll guarantee its coming since this scam makes even Sega's controversial Colonial Marines fiasco look like a proverbial candy snatch from a baby compared to Sean Murrays literal mass bank robbery. Want to know my theory? They planned this, the perfect crime. Get 6 guys together who can put together some nice looking technical demos together, get as much hype going as possible with magazine stories, tv interviews and get that hype train going full steam - yet building a very lazy actual game that contains next to nothing of the technical demos yet 'just' enough to fool people into believing Hello Games is providing the actual game so they walk away with 10+ million dollars and laugh at everyone - sounds crazy right? yet, its not really that far fetched - there is alot of shady things going on.

Regardless of what happens, this fiasco has damaged the gaming industry with even more people holding off on pre-ordering games now, and as for Hello Games - they are done, nobody is going to trust them anymore.

I haven't had a chance to play EL yet since I've been too busy with BE - Even on standard turns, it takes far longer than regular civilization games, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing :3

Many typical jrpgs these days are aimed purely at the otaku fan base, and that boils down to the fact that if your not into anime most of these games you're just not going to enjoy or understand. I'm playing Akiba's Trip right now, which the PsP version was given a 4...I'm playing the PS3 version and I'm quite enjoying the game, but its a game that isn't going to appeal to non-otaku - my point is that, many jrpgs these days are receiving unfairly biased reviews, sure I can understand that technical issues and bugs would lower a score, but anything else should be reviewed fairly - as I see it, many Jrpgs should be reviewed by actual anime/manga fans themselves and have them pass judgement.

@snova9308 @aots_twilight @billlabowski @Lord_Sesshy I've seen it too, thats why I tend to play more co-op based games these days, and because of that - I've seen far less trolling and jerks.
