Well, consider this: are you a pacifist because you're such a great, standup guy, or because you're too afraid to fight? It's the latter, and that's why people make fun of you for it.

No, but that's actually a potentially awesome/awful passtime.

It was definitely worth trying, but that doesn't make it any less embarassing for him, does it? Honestly though, I would have tried it too...

Interestingly enough, pretty much the opposite of this situation has also occured: not long ago I read about an instance of two office workers in Toronto (I think) who, on a floor which would be a lethal falling height, began to argue about the structural integrity of the building's windows. Feeling he had to prove his point that the windows were invincible, one of these clowns actually took a running charge at the window. You can guess the rest.

Too lazy to source, unless I get lynched. Then maybe I'll find it.

I find it a bit presumptuous and Euro-centric that you did not include either Hinduism orBuddhism, considering there are 500 MILLION Hindus and 350 MILLION Buddhists. You poll is fundamentally flawed and quite offensive.

rlake
Here in Western society, religion is ruled by monotheism, so Buddhism and Hinduism aren't as prevalent, so they don't need to be in the poll.. If the poll were global, I'd agree (though you're obviously quite easily offended), but since GS is based out of Europe and North America, of course it's going to be Eurocentric.

Since you chose to use the word "eventually", I'm pretty damn sure robotscould eventually replace the jobs of everybody. It is one hell of an "eventually" though, maybe a few hundred years?

[QUOTE="raven_squad"][QUOTE="mattykovax"]Well thats the thing its not whether the films are good it relys more on how desensitized is the viewer.mattykovax
Well yes and no. I also thought the film was very poorly paced. But that might just be me.

No offense I think that proves my point. Your sitting there calculating the films pace while the average affected viewer is just trying to deal with their unexpected tension.

I don't thinkdesensitization is a huge factor here. If you're not so desensitized you can't watch a film without covering your eyes for gore, or can't calculate plot points while watching it, that'd actually be quite unusual for the age we live in (and especially odd for one who is presumably a gamer).

[QUOTE="Oblivionfan10"][QUOTE="_en1gma_"] Have you played much of Morrowind?_en1gma_
Never played it. I have heard its better than Oblivion though

:o Tenfold. You should purchase TES3 Morrowind GOTY edition and really get into it. Now. Just mind that it's...around 7 years old.

Oh Gods I could talk about Morrowind for hours, I likely shouldn't get started. It incidentally also happens to be my longest session at roughly 12 hours.

Oblivion was great but yeah, Morrowind was leagues better.Play it now.

Regardless of whether or you're not good at it, you should continue if you enjoy it...

Probably exactly the same. When I first got here, people were already talking about a passed golden age of OT, but things never really changed during my OT citizenship.

Just basically asking, why do you neccessarily view another opinion as a higher form. That obviously means the critics opinion was not enough. Obviously there are sites like gamerankings, rottentomatoes, and just plain mean scores of thousands of people for whatever you are doing. So another opinion is not acceptable as a valid argument...

Cokelore
So, the opinion of 1 is essentially no different than the opinion of thousands when determining the truth or validity of an idea or belief, is that an accurate summary? Seriously, I'm not patronizing you, I just wanna be sure we're on the same page here.
