Overall I was a fan of the ending. Hopefully all they add will be a little explanation of what happened to your crew - that seemed a bit tacked on. But the internal battle in Shepard's mind battling indoctrination made for a perfect ending imo.

The control ending fit in perfectly with everything TIM stood for, while the synthesis ending was more in line with Saren's goals. I loved the fact that you could blow them both off and end synthetic "life" in the galaxy. I do understand that people felt cheated because there weren't endings catered to your specific choices. But I felt that the other 95% of the game did a good job centering a story around your earlier choices. The actual ending cinematic was a great way to end the whole story arc. Sweet piece of science fiction when all is said and done.
Not sure if you played it yet, but you can get Alan Wake for cheap - good fun. Shadow Complex was also great, but it's not likely to be discounted (XBLA title).
55 hours in and the only problem I have encountered was a dragon flying in place. I've had several dragon encounters since without any problems. Running the game from the disk and the textures have been fine - just have to deal with slightly longer loading times. So far Skyrim has been my smoothest Elder Scrolls experience (played Oblivion on 360 and Morrowind on original xbox).
So far I love the update - my favorite interface since the original blades. It's great to finally be able to open the disk tray from the opening screen again. Hated the fact that the last dashboard forced you to scroll up to get to the game interface.
3DO is worth it just to be able to play Total Eclipse and Road Rash. I only played one game on the Jaguar (some Aliens game), but I remember it being fairly poor. The Jag's controller was a disaster as well.
IMO the worst revival this gen by a wide margin was Shadowrun. Its so bad it seems that everyone has already forgotten what an embarrassment it was. I'd love to have a long talk with the genius who decided to take a cyber-punk RPG from the 16-bit era and make it a FPS.
