That is to say if it IS going to be a shooter; I am not sure.

Meh. I am not too fired up for an immediate shooter in the Mass Effect universe. I'd like to see Bioware show a little humility and allow some other devs a go at their intellectual properties, like companies let Obsidian do all the time. Can you imagine....

MassCom: Enemy Effect?

...or...

Dark Souls of the Old Republic?

Oh, man. I drool when I think of Mass Effect's power combinations on a Xcom-style map. And as the original Dark Souls stands now, a talented modder could turn it into a solid Sith game.

Why not beg Firaxis or Hidetake Miyazagi to partner with you, Bioware? Ya'll need a shot in the arm, bros, whether you know it or not.

Excuse, Evil Saluki. He is also stalking me on steam. You all aren't suppose to know what he's talking about; the lil' anonymous d*uche is just happy to be getting my attention.

Hey, Saluki. Way to go, anonymous d*uche. You must be real proud of yourself sittin' there in your anonymous-virgin land.

Planetside 2.

This. Even those who don't like a whole lot of hardcore pvp should check Planetside 2 out if only for the technical marvel of hundreds of people enjoying serviceable physics and ballistics spread out over a millieu of gameplay options.

Cause chaos with a hyperfast jeep on the front line. Be a bomber. Surprise ground combatants with a jetpack. Repair mechs. As you get passed newb foibles like enemy headshots and friendly tanks (they kill you too) you will find something you like.

@Bardock47:

DEATHLOK is interesting. (Minor spoiler) Marvel is doing a "manchurian candidate / bourne identity" thing with it. It's only 2 issues in so a good time to pick it up.

MOON KNIGHT -- (SPOILER) Gonshu left Marc Spector and is now recruiting others as vigilantes. A lone doomsayer is running around the streets warning Gonshu's new pawns to break free. And the doomsayer is...? Marc Spector! ...who is then arrested by what may or may not be the FBI (as they proceed to whup his *ss once out of public view in issue 10.) It starts out dry but at the last page, I have to see what happens next.

I've liked Moon Knight since he was tripping balls on a Chicago subway. He sees a "No Smoking" sign turn into a "Moon Kings" sign, and proceeds to pummel his fellow commuters believing them to be whatever a 'moon king' is. That's storytellin' right there derp.

I don't get what exactly your confused about.

When Candy turns the tables on King and Django, it might have made more sense for the bad guys to force the $12 grand fighter on them rather than letting them buy what he really knew they wanted, Django's wife. I just see it as a missed story opportunity by someone who made a lot of money NOT missing story opportunities. I suspect Tarantino realized this as he has a good idea for making Django a somewhat believable story. I will give you an example.

"The more confusing part about it of course was that they had Django's wife, and were free to go. And yes Candy was a despicable person, but the issue I have is would Schultz have lost his cool and killed Candy or had the sense to walk out with his life."

Right, because Doc King Schultz never lost his cool. But remember in the study while writing up the paperwork? King starts having flashbacks of the runaway that Candy fed to the dogs. He is fighting off mental trauma as he begs the musician to stop playing Beethoven. (I imagine he didn't want the memory to rob his enjoyment of a great composer.)

So, Quentin Tarantino went out of his way to show us King's trauma. (It didn't advance the story so much as explain why) King is NOT going to shake Candy's hand. There is no way. His own honor and living with himself after seeing Candy's treatment of the "dog victim" was at stake. He would rather die than shake his hand. He would rather kill him than shake his hand. I thought Quentin set that up well.
