I sold my PSP and am getting a DSi tomorrow and I have my eye on the Call of Duty games as well as a few others. How are they for how limited the DS's technology stands?

The ability to see the volume bars in gameplay like it used to be back in the day.

I'm 4 hours in and I'm loving it. Seriously the reviewers were so wrong to say that the game is broken. Yes it has flaws but none of them are gamebreaking. On top of them saying the shooting mechanics are broken, IT'S AN RPG! You have to level up and earn your skill not be some ultimate Rambo character at the start. Everybody has had it way too easy lately. This game is friggin amazing.
35 bucks isn't bad, but I'm gonna wait until it's 25 or less. That's just me though. Would appreciate your thoughts on the game though. I've heard very mixed feelings. Some people have enjoyed it despite its flaws, and others have cursed the game :Pyokofox33
[QUOTE="FendersONLY"]35 bucks isn't bad for it, I don't think. It's definitely a flawed game, but I can see some people enjoying the game. I'm playing it already and its flawed but fun so far. Not nearly as bad as they are making it out to be.
I really was hyped up for the game until I read the reviews but I usually love games that score a bit low (Mercenaries 2, Dante's Inferno for a couple instances). So for those of you who have played it for more than 10 seconds would it be worth playing? I already have it here still sealed but waiting to open it.frostybanana

I sure as hell hope Sony doesn't ditch a tangible media format, because I honestly can't stand download only. If they go download only for the PSP2 then Sony will have lost me as a customer. I have had a PSP since launch and been upgrading with every iteration except the PSP Go because it's download only. As my new years resolution I gave up on portable gaming. I don't have an iPod or any kind of MP3 player of the sort so I caved and bought a PSP 1000 that is practically mint for $50 from a friend of a friend. I use it for gaming and all of the multimedia functions it offers. While I am aware that a download only system can do everything PSP 1000, 2000, and 3000 it still can't do the most important thing, and thats playing tangible games. I could care less if they ditch UMD and come up with something completely new. Personally it would be a very bad idea on Sony's part to go download only but thats just me.
